Riad Tawkane

Un piccolo gioiello nascosto nel cuore della Medina di Marrakech. Arrivarci è parte dell’esperienza: il contrasto con ciò che si vede intorno è fortissimo, quasi spiazzante, ma appena si apre la porta del Riad sembra di entrare in un altro mondo. Un luogo curato con amore, silenzioso, autentico e incredibilmente pulito. Le camere non sono grandi, ma sono dei veri bijoux: bellissime, accoglienti, con bagni impeccabili e un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il Riad ha poche stanze e questo rende tutto ancora più intimo e speciale. Un ringraziamento speciale ad Aicha e Safae, due ragazze meravigliose che ogni mattina preparano una colazione deliziosa, genuina e ricca di cose fatte in casa. La spremuta d’arancia fresca è indimenticabile, così come il tè marocchino servito con grande gentilezza anche nel pomeriggio. Il proprietario,Taouifiq, è una persona davvero cordiale e attenta: ama conoscere i suoi ospiti e riesce a creare un’atmosfera calda e familiare rara da trovare. Io me ne sono innamorata. Più che un soggiorno, è stata un’esperienza. Un posto autentico dove tornerei subito

Location - it is really convenient for visiting anything in the old part of the city! it is a bit sketchy to get to the riad (but then again, it's like that in whole Morocco :D ), but luckily, the staff is there if needed! Breakfast - it was really tasty, especially the strawberry jam!!! Rooms - they were quite comfortable, the bathroom is a bit different from what we are used to, but it really gives to the traditional vibe Rooftop - best part of the riad! it's so nice to sit there in the morning and evening! Staff - they walked us to/from the taxis when we needed transport, everyone was so nice, and special props to Aisha! Would stay here again for sure!

This was our second stay at Riad tawkane and it was just as amazing as the first. The location is perfect, not too far from the square and there are restaurants near by. The Riad is beautiful as are all the staff. Ayoub is the perfect host, he makes your stay hassle free and is always on hand to help. Highly recommended.

Beyond expectations ! Best riad I’ve spend time in ✨ All the staff is amazing, helpful, and make everything feel easy! Thank you so so much Ayoub 🙏🏼 The bed is super comfortable, the terrace is lovely with different levels to enjoy a panoramic view of Marrakech. Oh and the decor and smells are absolutely marvelous! Highly recommend it !
