A truly special place to stay. The villas are huge and offer complete privacy. You really feel like a special guest here. The staff take great care of you and pay attention to every wish, making it a perfect place for relaxation and peace. The hotel is located far away from any noise, yet the city is easily accessible within a 15-minute drive.

Everything was perfect

The river house was wonderful. Breakfast was great with a beautiful view. We enjoyed all the activities and boat rides.

Kuara is a rare find. Just 16 suites on Lombok’s quiet southern coast, right on the beach, with nothing but ocean and sky in front of you. The setting is extraordinary. I was upgraded to a River House, which was absolutely amazing. The river saltwater pool was incredible and the setting fabulous. The villa design is stunning: natural materials, earthy tones, and a wonderfully thought out layout. The staff were the highlight. Genuinely warm, attentive, and always one step ahead without hovering. They set the tone for the whole stay. The activities were fab – the sunset cruise and cycling tour were both standout moments, and I spotted a turtle while snorkelling.

The food and spa didn’t quite match the standard of everything else. Both were perfectly pleasant, but with such a special setting and such strong service, there’s room to grow in these areas. Nothing that spoiled the stay – just where the next level lies. One thing that’s not the hotel’s fault but worth mentioning: there was a lot of plastic in the sea. A shame given how beautiful the coastline is.

It is an amazing boutique resort. The location is about 20-30 minutes away from Kuta. If you plan to visit Kuta or other locations in the island, the resort can arrange transportation for you. For meals, the breakfast was simply amazing. The menu is limited, but the food is delicious and beautifully presented each time. Please check out the spa for massage treatments. The therapist was wonderful and very experienced. I love it so much I went back for a second time and both my children also enjoyed the experience. This resort will make us feel like at home because the staff put awesome effort to assist and serve us.

I love everything about the property as what it has published when I booked the villa. The resort has limited sport activities, hence it may be less attractive to teenagers. We brought our teenage boys out to other parts of the island for snorkelling and jet ski activities.

Il resort è stupendo, ben curato nei dettagli, anche grazie allo staff. La piscina interna è molto bella, una oasi di vero relax! Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto lo staff che ci ha coccolato, soprattutto a Nuril, gentile, positivo e molto disponibile. A presto! Grazie

Absolutely excellent. Luxe but not over the top. Gorgeous property, peaceful, amazingly helpful staff who respond to requests promptly via WhatsApp. Great food and drinks in a tranquil beach setting with good massages to boot! We will be back.

Only minor drawback was that the ocean right at the property wasn’t great for swimming at this time of year. Apparently it’s much clearer and appealing in the June/July/Aug dry season.

Alles was geweldig. De villa met het overdekte bed voor de villa aan het zwembad was heerlijk. Het personeel is zo lief en behulpzaam. Je krijgt een whatsapp nummer waar je alles mee kunt regelen. Het restaurant met nog een zwembad kijkt uit op de zee. Je kan ook een kano of surfboard pakken en gebruiken..Ook brengen ze met een bootje naar een plek waar je kunt surfen mocht je dit willen. We zijn er 10 dagen geweest en het was genieten. Echt ultiem relaxen! Er is niks in de buurt en het drukke Kuta is een half uurtje met de auto maar was voor ons te druk. Je hebt alles bij het hotel met heerlijk eten en afternoon tea dus was voor ons prima!

Misschien een aantal meer bedden bij het zwembad en het strand. Niet dat het steeds bezet was maar het nodigt wat meer uit en wij waren nog in t laagseizoen.
