Harbour View

The house was not a lot to look at from the outside - a terraced house in a residential area - but inside it was very well decorated and furnished. It was comfortable, light and spacious. Although "harbour view" might be pushing it a bit, you could see some of the water but more of the surrounding rolling hills. The location was a steep but fairly short walk into the centre of Killybegs, a charming and friendly fishing port. Popping into the town in the morning to the bakery was a particular pleasure with everyone you passed saying "hello" at the very least. The bars and restaurants were equally friendly and pleasant. It was a great base to explore the area from.

The only (tiny) grumble was the hot water pressure upstairs. It was ok in the kitchen but I had to take a kettle upstairs to have a shave.

Spotlessly clean and really comfortable

The hill back to the house was difficult, but I have arthritis in my hips so wasn’t manageable for me. In saying that my husband found it tough to. Just had to drive which was grand.

Location perfect close to the harbour & plenty of bars & restaurants near by.

Having the host greet us at the house was so appreciated. Excellent goody bag! Great water pressure and hot water. The host was very accessible for questions.
