Clean with good views and good location.

We messaged the host at 8:45 in the morning asking for the check-in procedure and never received a response. Our check-in was listed for 3 to 4:00 p.m. We showed up just before 4:00 p.m. soaking wet from hiking in the rain and attempted to call and message the host. We waited 40 minutes before we received a response. When we did receive a response, the host asked us for pictures of our passports. I understand the SEF procedure, but the host did not provide a secure way to send ID. When we eventually got inside, the TV remote did not work making the tv unusable (did not have volume/channel buttons) and when we asked where the air conditioner remote was we were told it was an extra five euro per day. When I expressed frustration about the lack of communication and the other issues, the host told me "your being a little nasty" and said we could cancel at 8pm. He did offer to have someone come into the house at 8pm to check our passports and bring batteries for the remote, but that was the last thing we wanted after a long wet day. Never received an apology. Just read the reviews, and you'll see that this host is just better to avoid.

A beautiful house with a nice view. House had everything. The beds were comfortable. Host was quick to respond to any questions. The check-in process was fairly straightforward. Parking was good just next to the house there was a small parking lot.

The property size was adequate and included all the listed amenities. Hélder was quick to respond and resolve a small issue. The living room area was very comfortable and the view out the large window very nice. Free parking is generally available nearby.

The host had to help us get into the lockbox for the keys because we couldn’t get it open. The mattress should be replaced as you can feel springs. Air conditioning (located in living room, not bedroom) was an additional 5 euro per day while it had been included in the price of our other stays; the AC is needed during the summer because there are no screens on the windows so bugs come in when you open them. It wasn’t a big deal because we were prepared for this based on other reviews. Finally, there was a pod coffee machine provided but no pods; maybe an oversight by the cleaner.

It's a whole house for you, it has mainly everything you'll need. The view from the main window is stunning.

Furniture of the room looks quite old, can be easily replaced to look nicer. A little bit overpriced.

The living room overlooks green fields and cows in them plus hortensia plants, of course:-) as well as the ocean further back. It`s a very nice view to enjoy while staying inside the house or outside it (terrace) if you like the countryside, peace and quiet. The neighbourhood is really quiet, the road outside the house is not a main road so traffic is occasional. The owner was helpful and ready to react when we had questions.

The bathroom facilities are rather old but very clean plus they were shown in the pictures I guess so you see everything while making a reservation.

A nice house in a very quite and remote location but it is difficult to get there without a car. Contactless check-in and check-out was very easy. The house has everything a family might need including kitchen utilities. A splendid view to the ocean from the main room is included. There as also terrace with barbeque. The landlord was very nice and kind although didn't speak much English. Be ready there are no shops around so you have to bring everything with you. Overall we enjoyed staying there.

Some kitchen stuff like pans is awaiting replacement. It can be cold at night even in summer and I wasn't sure if there is heating. Also there was no air conditioning control in the house and the AC was operated by the owner thru Internet what was not really convenient. The main window looking to the ocean was a bit dirty.

The casa is a traditional Portuguese casa. Its construction and location is charming. The view is amazing, especially with the living room window, from the parking or the terasse. It has everything you need for a long stay: washer, fridge, stove, etc.

It is pretty humid. The hot water is hit or miss; works for a couple minutes, starts back, then stops and starts again. There a lot of ants. The bed, sofa-bed and pillows are really uncomfortable. Could not really get a good night's sleep. Please note AC is additional charge.

The view from the main window in the living room was beautiful. There was a TV with Netflix. The self-check-in was easy. Communication with the host was fast and friendly. There were some spices in the kitchen that we could use (probably left by other guests).

There were ants in the kitchen. The whole house is quite cold (17°C at 7am...) and the cable for the old heater in the bedroom was broken. It was very humid (more so than our other accommodations on the azores islands). The bathroom seems to have mold as well as the ceiling above the dining table.

The location isn't ideal, but if you have a car, it's manageable. The real issue was that Booking.com made an error with my reservation. Although I had paid for 4 people, both Booking and the property owner believed the booking was only for two (because on the confirmation of the reservation, some kind of mistake happened in the platform). We resolved it with Booking's help, but we had to wait outside for four hours because the owner refused to provide the entry code (thing that I think it's illegal, since I paid) and didn't answer my calls or come to the property to resolve the issue. We were stuck outside until nearly midnight, in the rain, unable to cook our food and, worst of all, without access to the property. To make matters worse, we had to pay an additional 200€ directly to the owner to finally get the entry code. It was outrageous. To top it off, on our first night, we didn't even have enough blankets and bed sheets for four people—there were only enough for two. Receiving a pineapple as an apology was a poor gesture and didn't make up for the inconvenience.
