Mokara Holiday Apartment

First of all the host, one of the best you could wish. Big rooms, big bathroom, and nice terrace, even a separate room with a washing machine. You can leave the air conditioning working all day and when we return in room at evening, it was OK. Not like in Greece or other places, were the host was watching out for you not to leave the air conditioning on.

I stayed on the first floor and the ceiling radiated heat very strongly (bad insulation); the air conditioning had difficulty to maintain temperature. Couldn't stay at noon in bedroom and in first room was very hot (no air conditioning there). But we got used to leave in the morning and return in the evening and this problem was solved :) .

The owners are incredibly friendly and gave us a lot of information. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, comfortable and ideally located. Will definitely book again!

The owners keep a dog in a cage in their garden next to the apartment, and the dog barks and howls almost nonstop every night. Because of this, we didn’t sleep well during our stay.

Linda and Vanerssa were extremely hospitable, helpful, and attentive to anything needed. The apartment was very clean and well-kept. Fabulous A/C and Wifi! The most lovely and unexpected gift was that they had Christmas dinner at the apartment for everyone. They made lovely Creole dishes and other amazing food to share. The best part was the unique company of the guests: Sechians, an American, Ukranians, and Russians. All were there to celebrate and appreciate the joys of the year. A true home away from home! Nastranovia!!!

Basics provided would have been nice. Coffee, tea, pepper, paper towels, etc.

Very nice and big apartment with all you need inside for cooking and spending a great time. Location is very quiet and relaxing. Hosts are very friendly and welcome. Cleaning is very good.

For my wife the bed was to hard the mattress, but for me was very ok.

Lynda and Vanersa are very friendly and helpful hostesses. They can help you with everything you need. Appartament is spacious with comfortable beds and we had 2 separate bathrooms ( really good when you stay with 4 adult people). Appartemenet good equiped, you can even use barbeque. There are several shops nearby, little fruit/vegetable market, vish shop. Its good to have a car, easy to reach any side of the island. Our favourite beach not far from accomodation is Anse Soleil beach ( by car).

Very nice famiy-driven accommodation with really nice hosts, especially Vanersa and Lyndha. Good location and with the 'fast' public bus we could reach our destinations very fast..

The apartment is very clean, quiet, well equiped and spacious. 5 minutes walk from the beach. The host is super friendly and always available to assist with anything. Most of all, excellent value for money in the expensive island of Mahe :) 100% recommend this place!
