Pinhão House

This was an excellent 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment in the heart of the Duoro Valley. The small town of Pinhao was an excellent, central location for day trips and hiking. We also highly recommend eating at "The Writer's Place" (don't be in a hurry if you go, food is amazing). We also enjoyed a winery tour/tasting at Quinta de la Rosa, not far from the apartment, as well as walking down to the river and getting tickets for a 1 hour boat ride. This apartment is on the second floor walk up (no elevator). It is very spacious with lots of natural light and a great view of the valley. We were a family of 5 adults and this was more than enough space to relax and enjoy our stay. The apartment was very clean. Each bedroom was spacious. We appreciated the half bath to help with morning routines. The host was easy to contact. There was plenty of free street parking in front of the apartment. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Good communication with helpful owner who also provided lots of local info and recommendation. Lovely, large , apartment with on road parking outside. Excellent location in centre of Pinhao with local bakery, supermarket, restaurants and 10 minute walk down to river promenade.

Nothing

The apartment was comfortable and an excellent location to explore Pinhao wineries and the Douro River. Our rooms were on the top floor looking down onto the main st but with double glazed windows noise was not an issue. A generous decanter of local port was on the table when we arrived and our Host Manu was in communication to make sure we arrived safely and had no issues. We walked to local wineries and restaurants and took an hour cruise down the Douro. 3 days was an excellent time to spend in Pinhao.

Centrally located in center city. Walkable to wineries and restaurants. Apt over looked Douro river and Terraced vines with excellent views.

Large bright spacious 3BR apartment on the Main Street close to train, and with a wonderful view to the river and great balcony to enjoy it on Welcome Port was much appreciated

Loved everything. Highly recommend

The only issue we had was that there was only one shower. We were 2 Couples travelling together (4 adults). It did have two bathrooms though so we did manage. Manu was always available and helpful, giving friendly advice and recommendations for the Pinhao area. We absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for the perfect stay in beautiful Pinhao.

Great location, apartment and everything was super easy. It has been freshly painted around early Feb 2026 and smell was quite strong.

Location was good

Linen on bed was dirty the soap in the shower was already used! Second bathroom had so many bugs dead on the floor and flying around.

Very convenient for the station and restaurants.
