The Destination Homestay

The homestay truly felt like a home away from home. So safe and comfortable for a solo female traveller. Nothing compares to the beautiful views from terrace and tasty home cooked meals served with love! The family is so welcoming and caring!! There are very few places where you don’t just stay, but belong. This is one of such special place 🌻

Lovely room, great terrace with view, away from noise of Main Street but close enough to walk. Special shout out to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating, especially for looking after our luggage. Thank you very much

Everything was perfect! You will quickly feel part of the family while have your own spaces. The terrasse is a huge plus. The rooms are super clean and comfy, well-decorated and spacious. I extended my stay several times and could leave my luggage in a safe place when I was out of leh trekking. They were also very responsive on Whatsapp. Super close to the center also (10 minutes walk) and lots of information and contact to order food or get a transport to the airport. Possibility to have breakfast is a real plus. I totally recommend

Wifi connexion not always in all the rooms, but in the common area yes.

Большая светлая комната, достаточно удобная кровать. Расположение неплохое, до центра идти близко

Сначала заселили в комнату дешевле. Переселили после указания на ошибку. Сантехника очень уставшая. Местный работник (не член семьи) настойчиво просил чаевых, хотя толком ничего не сделал и перепутал номера вначале. Цена завышена для такого размещения

Lovely, cosy homestay, the family were really welcoming and supportive. I struggled with altitude sickness when first arriving and they were really helpful. Location is about ten mins walk from centre and my room had a lovely view of the shanti stupa.

Pillows were too big for me!

Good location with gorgeous views and a lovely large terrace for sitting out, meeting other guests and drying laundry. The room was large and comfortable with everything we needed. Strong WiFi and plenty of hot water. The family were very friendly and even cooked some rice soup when one of us was ill. This was much appreciated.

Not being able to pay by card when it stated cards were accepted.

판공초여행을 마치고 이곳이 편안하여 재방문하였다 휴식뿐 아니라 10분거리에 한국식당 아미고와 일본식카페가 있어 편리했으며 근처에 다양한 마켓 및 레스토랑들이 있다 태양열전기를 보완한 관계로 온수도 부족함 없이 잘 나왔다 깨끗하고 다정하고 편리한 숙소에서 잘지내다가연결해 준 택시로 공항까지 잘갔다 댕큐

Big spacious rooms with a great view from the terrace. The location was away from the hustle and bustle but also walking distance.

In one of the rooms there were issues with the shower and water.

Amazing family there take care of you as part of them. If you want to feel secure and welcomed, I would strongly suggest you to stay there. Staying here became one of the best moments in Leh.
