Uptown Lofts

the location is good, everything is brand new.

Loft type of apartments are not my thing - stairs felt a bit not very secured. Located on a main street, so it may be noisy especially in summer if you would like to keep window open. The towels in the bathroom were wet - whether they were washed and not completely dry or they were not changed from the prior person - i cannot say.

The high ceilings and big windows allowed for a lot of light into the apartment. The shower area was large and the bed was comfortable. I liked having the bedroom upstairs it gives a feeling of a 1 bedroom apt vs a studio. The kitchen was nice with a big fridge and big sink and lots of counter space. Location was pretty close to a good grocery store and had convenient bus routes. It was also walkable to the old town.

I had some issues with the wifi from time to time. Certain social media platforms / apps (Facebook and Instagram) ran very slowly but other sites were normal and when I switched to a VPN it was fine, so I think it has to do with the service provider was blocking or slowing down things on purpose. The kitchen should have a bigger frying pan, it's only big enough for 2 egg and not ideal for cooking a large meal. Like other reviews that mention to be careful with the stairs I didn't find them to be an issue, you just need to watch holding onto the railing at the very bottom because it is not very solid. ie it moves. Just be careful and you have no problems though.
