Rumah Dharma

Loved the peaceful rural location in the middle of the rice fields. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The small pool was perfect for cooling off and some areas surrounded by a small garden for lounging, both under cover and in the sun. Food at Rumah Dharma was fantastic. We stayed for four days and ate there for most meals. The Indonesian food was varied and delicious- but we had to ask for sambal as they assume foreigners don’t like spice. There are bicycles provided free for guests, nice to ride around the local area. It took about 15 minutes to cycle to Borobudur. There’s a beautiful museum in the local village that’s definitely worth checking out as well. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

Not everyone will like the layout of the bathroom, incorporated into the main room with only a screen and not a door. Being in the countryside, the calls to prayer at various local mosques can get rather loud, but this is a fact of life in Java.

De prachtige locatie en het mooie hotel en zwembad. We kregen gratis fietsen om de Borobudur te bezoeken. Het was 20 minuten fietsen! Het personeel was super lief en behulpzaam. Het eten was heerlijk! Echt wel een aanrader.

Kamer slecht onderhouden, spinnenwebben, stoffig en de badkamer, de kranen helemaal verkalkt. Weinig lichtpunten, groot licht. Verder heel mooi bed en badkamer.

We appreciated the kindness of the staff, the villa was super cool and excellent position, 15 min bicycle ride from Borobodur temple. Also the surroundings were very nice and authentic to explore. Delicious and cheap dinner and excellent breakfast. Nice pool!

De locatie is prachtig, de kamers/huisjes zijn uitstekend. Extra voordeel de douche en wc zitten niet naast elkaar. Het ontbijt, de lunch en het diner waren uitstekend.

Excellent location in the rice fields and great atmosphere in the garden to hake dinner by the pool or just chill. One of the best meals we had in our trip. Don’t be afraid of frogs and geckos and other animal sounds, it’s the same everywhere in indonesia close to nature.

Tout était super, l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. La situation géographique est très bonne. La décoration est magnifique. Et on y mange très bien.
