Breakfast options were limited. They did kindly make us some tofu as vegans which wasn’t on the menu. The second day there were no staff around so we had to wait at least 45 minutes for someone to arrive to order along with another guest.
ARThe view from the restaurant is great. Spacious room, if you care. The ladies in the kitchen were lovely.
If you're on a budget, this place is just not worth the money if you compare the standard and see what other places offer for much, much less. The service was extremely poor; we were ready for breakfast soon after 7; there was nobody around for another 20 minutes, until we searched for them. The room , as the whole house and the restaurant, do not look welcoming. That's why, probably, most guests went to the neighbours. The potential is there... just needs more improvements.

I don't like writing a negative review but this place has so much potential and under new management would fly. The neighboring property was full. If the price was lower it would have been OK. Staff seemed uninterested, rooms smelt damp, no fridge shower flooded, (fixed promptly) . It's a shame as it's got a lovely view.

During our stay we struggled to communicate some basic requests regarding housekeeping and ordering food. We used google translate for all communication but some of that was misconstrued.
AUWe absolutely loved our stay at Dương Riverside Homestay. The view is magical and the hosts very welcoming and kind. It truly felt like we stayed in their home. Ms Linh helped us to rent motorbikes to explore the Botanic gardens and booked the sleeper bus for us for our next stop. The ticket station for the caves is only a short walk away. The room was basic but has everything you need for a short stay. And waking up to the view is priceless.

EEAmazing place with a very spacious room and an awesome balcony. The views of the river and sunset were absolutely incredible. The host was warm and welcoming, taking great care to ensure a comfortable stay. Breakfast was good, and I could easily rent a scooter directly from the host, which was very convenient. He even went the extra mile by dropping me off at the bus station. Truly enjoyed my stay!
DKThe view was good. The rooms were classical vietnamese in good condition and clean.
We were arriving late at night and agreed that the host will pick us up from the station (it was his idea, he proposed himself. 100k for 0.9 km in car - little bit pricy but OK). But he didn’t show up and didn’t pick up the phone. When we came to the property we didn’t know where to go and nobody greeted us and showed us our room. So we chose one, which turned out not to be ours and we had to switch the next day. Breakfast was not good. Cups were dirty. We have traveled a lot in Vietnam and we can say that it was not so much welcoming service. When we wanted to rent a scooter they gave us a scooter which obviously was not safe to drive. We complained and they changed it to a better one. In total, we felt that everything was made in order to earn the most money rather than a pleasent and comfortable stay for the guests.
