A rehabbed modern, very comfortable home away from home, with all the amenities. Fully functioning kitchen included all needed appliances. Comfy bed and linens. Central location in the heart of the city. We parked at the city municipal parking, 5-10 min walk.

Ich hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Das Haus war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was ich brauchte. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Nous avons adoré cet appartement, la manière dont il a été aménagé et décoré. Très propre, bien situé dans la vieille ville, il y a un parking gratuit à quelques minutes à pied et un restaurant avec la meilleure vue sur la plage juste à côté, ainsi qu’un café fréquenté par des locaux pour prendre son café le matin avec un bon pastel de nata. Vera a été très conciliante, elle a pu organiser le nettoyage pour avancer un peu notre Check-in. Nous recommandons à 200%.

La cuisine reste agréable, même si tous les équipements ne sont pas intégrés (four, plaque de cuisson). Cependant, ce serait bien de changer la bouilloire tout en plastique pour une version où l’eau serait en contact que de l’inox ou du verre, ainsi que le grille-pain, un peu vétuste.

The location is excellent, in the heart of the old town, in a small traditional house which has been recently and beautifully converted to a modern space. There is a courtyard with table and chairs, and a large bedroom. We also used the sofa bed, which was extremely comfortable. It has a galley kitchen. We had some wonderful walks in Horta including up the Brasil hill, walking from the house one early morning. Just outside the town is a new restaurant - possibly the best restaurant we have been to for years - the Sintonia Experience. It opened on 18 July 2025 and is chef led. If you can get a table, do try it.

The kitchen equipment was patchy and had we been fully self-catering, we would have struggled. Suggest a review of what is there (and what might be needed).
