No aircon but it didn't bother me as there was a fan.

One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had I’ve been traveling around the world for years and never had such a negative experience. We booked this accommodation last minute due to a change in plans, as it had decent reviews – something I now find hard to believe. We arrived in the afternoon, tired from our journey. The host, although not fluent in English, was polite and even agreed to rent us a scooter at half price since we got it late. So far, everything seemed fine. However, the problems started as soon as we entered the room. There was a strong smell of dampness and mold. Since we left immediately for a short walk and dinner, we didn’t give it much thought at first. But upon returning, the smell had become unbearable. We had to stay outside the room for about two hours with the doors open, hoping the smell would go away – which it didn’t. Even though we had booked for two nights, we decided to stay only one and leave the next day. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the worst decision. Apart from the awful smell, there was a strange noise during the night that made us feel unsafe. We wanted to leave immediately, but due to the late hour, we couldn’t find a taxi and were forced to stay the night. My partner managed to get a little sleep, but I couldn’t sleep at all. In the morning, we messaged the host, expecting at least an apology or some concern. Instead, we received a simple and indifferent response: “Good morning, this is a Homestay.” Instead of understanding, we got complete indifference. We didn’t receive any refund, and on top of that, we were charged for the scooter we only used for a few hours. The host could have at least apologized or waived that cost as a gesture of goodwill, considering we left early. It’s not about the money we lost but the lack of professionalism and the poor handling of the situation.

Large, clean and comfortable accommodation including hot water with a really good breakfast on your terrace. The host, Wayan, was super friendly. He organised an amazing silver making class just across the road and offers well priced taxis for onward journey. Would highly recommend!

The breakfast had many options and was brought straight to the room. The owner was lovely and very attentive

The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the fan works great. Beautiful garden. Wayan was really lovely, he went out of his way to get me what I wanted. I will for sure be back.
