Bantan Guesthouse Canggu

Ok but it was old and very basic

For a solo traveller or couple = amazing value for money, location, room size and aircon. Is quiet and off the street. Cafes nearby, laundromat and local grocery store (you’ll need this for water) just down the alley from Guesthouse. Bike parking too!

No top sheet provided just a fleece blanket. Bathroom would stay full of water due to drain position and power ran out a couple of times but was quickly resolved - property manager sends you code to put into electricity box connected to room.

Good space, good wifi and kind staff!

The charging stations stopped working and it also become cold water in the shower. Didn’t get fixed since it happened.

I liked the bed and the owner helped me to tell the guests who were noisy to keep it down, she was very nice while communicasting with me.

It was so dirty, I got so sick from the water and mold on the walls in the bathroom. So, so dirty property. They dont clean properly and than lie about it. A lot of people were very noisy, it seems like they did not got the right instructions. The smell of the mold in the room was horrible. Now I found a much better clean place for less money so... Keep on looking. Bagong guest house is amazing and clean. I am sorry but you need to make it clean for people to live there.

Honestly, out of all the places I’ve stayed in, this is the best value for money. For as little as 10-12€ per night it had all I needed, a comfortable bed, fast wifi , good air conditioning and the location is super convenient also. (Only 10 min drive to Canggu beach)

Only thing that was inconvenient was sometimes the power would go but funnily enough the wifi would still work. It wasn’t the end of the world though as the customer service were quick to respond to the problem!

Big room, comfortable bed, cheap.

Bad smell from the drains in the bathroom. Would have liked to get new towels during a 6 nigth stay (got new the last day though) Could have cleaned under the bed also, but still more cleaner than most other places you can get for this price :)
