Oldie goldie

In the past few years we have stayed in many standard modern apartments -- most of them have provided comfortable accommodation, but they have often lacked character. Oldie Goldie is at least as comfortable as most standard modern apartments, but it also has some character -- which includes a very large, bright family room with many items for children, a large collection of (English) guide books, and numerous souvenirs. With respect to comfort, the apartment provides a washing machine/dryer, a dishwasher, satisfactory WiFi, sufficient hot water, a good (but small) shower enclosure, a parking place, and a well-equipped kitchen. We liked the location of the apartment. It is not in the city center but immediately across the river from the center of Maribor -- in-between the center of Maribor and the section named Tabor. That meant we were not only near the river and its delightful footpaths and bridges but were also near a 24/7 bakery, a celebrated ice-cream shop and, somewhat further, a large shopping mall. Moreover, the public bus service was very convenient and affordable. The check-in and check-out were easy.

The bedroom is fairly small, but there is a large wardrobe closet adjacent to it. The apartment faces out over a busy street, but there was no noise at night and no bother at any time. The apartment is fairly far from the Maribor railway and long-distance bus stations, but it is easily reached by city bus and by affordable taxi/Uber services (less than 8 €).

Sehr hilfsbereite Vermieter. Nur ein kurzer Weg bis zur Altstadt und ein privater Parkplatz.

Apartamentul este spațios, destul de aproape de pasarela pietonală peste râul Drava și centrul istoric. Am ales apartamentul datorită amplasării și facilităților oferite persoanelor cu dizabilități: parcare gratuită în apropiere, acces facil în centrul istoric. Comunicare a fost foarte bună, am primit toate informațiile necesare cazării - totul a decurs fără probleme.

Everything was great, very clean and obly a short walk to the city center.

Nagyon fiatalos és modern lakás Maribor központjában, közel a közvetlen belvároshoz. Rendkívül tágas az apartman és mindennel felszerelt. Saját parkolóhely tartozik az apartmanhoz, amely sorompóval védett. Jana a szállásadó folyamatosan tartotta velünk a kapcsolatot és minden szükséges információt rendelkezésre bocsátott.

Elmondható, hogy minden tetszett a szálláson, így konkrét negatívum nincs, viszont egyetlen dolgot javasolnék a szállásadónak a jövőre nézve. Amikor két távolabbi ismerős utazik együtt és lakik ebben az apartmanban, nem célszerű a hálószobában lévő egy darab kétszemélyes ágytakaró/paplan. Sokkal praktikusabb lenne két darab egyszemélyes ágynemű.

Wenn das Waschbecken etwas kleiner wäre, könnte man am WC sitzen ohne mit den Knien anzustoßen

Die Lage ist perfekt... 5 bis 8 Gehminuten bis ins Zentrum. Der Parkplatz um die Ecke ist perfekt. Die Gastgeber haben sehr viel Liebe in das Objekt gesteckt und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen.

Nagyon tiszta, kényelmes szállás. Közel a központhoz, nagyon pozitív, hogy van parkolója, mwrt a városban mindenhol fizetős a parkolás.
