Ocean Breeze

The house was spotless with lots of room inside and out for our children to play. The hosts were very friendly and were very helpful. They left some bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc, to get us started.

Aine was very accomodating and understanding with our later than expected arrival. House was clean and comfortable with plenty of natural lighting. Location to the town was walkable and was easily accessible by main roads.

The listing mentioned a washer and clothes drying rack but we did not see them in the house. We would have used it if we found them but it wasn't a necessity so we did not bother the host about it. We also would've liked some local tv access to wind down in the evening. That being said, there is a smart tv where you can log into Netflix and the like.

We had a car rental so it was relatively easy to get to Cork etc. The countryside was lovely and although we didn't have time, there's a beach a few minutes in the opposite direction, at Youghal. We brought our own food and were happy with the kitchen. The house itself was one of the most beautiful that we stayed in, very modern, classy, well-designed and comfortable.

I think this is one of the many places that lacked a teapot, which is basic equipment as far as I'm concerned, but fortunately you can always improvise! We also found that most places needed lighter weight bedding, an easy fix. There were a bunch of steps to get up to get in the front door but our host very graciously helped us with luggage and was very helpful in every way.

Great space (huge kitchen/living area), wonderful bedrooms, clean, and very bright. The floor to ceiling windows bring in great light to the main area. It was built by the owner, who is a carpenter, and it is beautifully decorated. I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

Need some more effective blackout blinds for the bedrooms.

Fabulous house and fabulous host Aine who helped us with loads of info during our 3 night stay. The house decor is superb and is well equipped with every facility.

Everything was perfect

Cute home with spacious kitchen and dining area. Enjoyed the common areas. Nice to walk into town and eat at the local pub.
