Fortis Rooms

Fabulous homestay with such lovely and thoughtful hosts. Our room was great, clean and bright and cool. Our host was so helpful in offering great advice and suggestions for the area - brilliant homestay I’m so glad we chose here.

Nothing.

Lacked basic amenities & needs a makeover furniture and decor is old and looks tired. No TV, no bedside lamp, no curtains only net cloth, bathroom is dim & no hangers to hang clothes.

Great and helpful staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, good wifi, good location

No hot water for shower. Building site next door, men could see into room as only net curtains.

The owners were very hospitable and helpful. The room was comfortable and had good ac. The south Indian breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed our stay at Fortis Rooms and would stay again when in Kochi.

I want to say a huge thank you to the host family at Fortis Rooms. Rinzin in particular was so kind, patient and helpful, from recommending places to eat, booking me a taxi to Munnar at a very good price, retrieving a passport and money I had stupidly left behind (!) and so much more. The property is only a 5 minute tuktuk ride (costing just ~50 rupees) to the main sights of Fort Kochi so a good location. My room was comfortable and quiet with working fan and good AC. The water was always hot and the internet connection strong. I loved that they provided a water refill station to reduce plastic use. I had omelette, fresh fruit and tea for breakfast which was delicious and other guests had the traditional Keralan breakfast and said it was very good too. I highly recommend staying here and would happily come back again. Thank you Rinzin :)

Great emplacement.....the owner Pima was so very helpful .... ,her English perfect. breakfast was excellent.

Great location, Clean, shower was good, breakfast was sufficient, staff were friendly and informative. Great value for money.
