Fortis Rooms

Lovely little home stay with basic but comfortable rooms and super kind staff. We would definitely stay here again (and did when we came back for another night in Kochi before our flight). Would recommend.

Little bit further out from the centre but still plenty of lovely spots 15 mins or so away. Would really recommend Let’s Kimchi nearby. Rooms do vary considerably in size for the same price.

Communal areas could be cleaner. Shame that the communal balcony at front of house was not in use, would be a great place to sit early morning. Would be better if tea station had T bags, just had coffee, sugar and creamer.

The check in experience was fine and the house common area itself was decent.

The fan didnt work, the AC took very long to cool, there was an obnoxiously loud drilling sound all day (granted that is outside their control), the bathroom had no ventilation and leaked continuously. There was no lamp nor charging point at the bedside. Cannot recommend the place unfortunately.

This was the first time we stayed at a Keralan homestay. This is a simple, clean and tidy place. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to help us, especially with local advice for restaurants, transport and tours. They arranged a backwater trip and went out of their way to help us get onward train reservations. This is only 5 mins in a TukTuk to Princess St.

Great location, clean rooms. Friendly owners. This is an ideal budget home stay. If you are planning to be out exploring Fort Kochin. Plenty of parking if you are in a self drive rental.

Don't expect any luxury, it's a simple, clean, well run homestay.
