A branch kept scraping the glass on the roof

The eclectic style of the property was delightful. It felt like a private stay in the country.

I kept hitting my head on the ceiling in the bathroom, and my husband struggled to get in and out of the bed because it was against a wall in a closet type room.

We absolutely loved the grounds, the peace, the originality of the room designs, closeness to town…with 110 degrees we were thrilled to have a pool.

Super clean, bed was comfy, social areas both indoor and out, for get togethers. Jacuzzi tub was enjoyable, even if it did take a very long time to fill.

Parking was challenging. The main lot was always full. Thankfully we found a spot on the lower level; but it’s all very tight. Seems like there would be room to adjust the property for easier navigating. A simple sign or two, to indicate the property location - would have instilled more confidence; and the additional directions via email came a day after we had arrived. The floor in our room (Carlo Mollino) next to the bed had a significant moan/creek when you step within a 3ft radius. We felt bad for people below us, and hoped it wasn’t as loud for them, thus tried to avoid stepping there.

The Inn is very quite and serene. Maybe there were not too many rooms booked during our stay which is a bonus for us. I love the size of our room & the bathroom. The jetted bath-tub is the winner. The location of the Inn is ideal. We only need to drive less than 20 minutes. The only exception is Hearst Castle but it's not bad at all.

The furniture seems to be a little outdated. They might need to do upgrades soon. The property rarely has employees working there. We are fine during our stay that we don't need extra of anything. Not sure if it's a bigger group.

This is a very wonderful and unique hotel. All rooms are one of a kind.

The only challenge - it was in my email but I never read it. The entrance is kinda like a secret nite club. You enter through a private road, pull up to a gate get your welcome package and gate code with check in instructions and you’re good.
