Very clean, close to the beach, great location, very friendly host

Because it is close to the big boulevard, it was a little bit loud

The location. Near the beach. Shops near by.

The property was clearly advertised as having a living room and separate bedroom. This is not the case. It is one room with a bed and fold out sofa in the same space. There were 3 of us staying. False advertising. We found rubbish under the bed, rubbish in the rubbish bin, a cigarette butt on a window sill in a non smoking apartment. In the bathroom a towel, bath mat and cloth were all damp. There was damp laundry on the deck on the clothes rack (household laundry). We later found we could have used those towels but had not been told that. The host did bring us some more toilet paper when we told her we were short. She tried to make some things right. The room issue she could not fix. I don’t think she accepted that the apartment was advertised as having a separate bedroom. “One room” she said. Not so.

Excellent location, the beach is literally across the road and shops and restaurants within minutes walk. Clean, spacious inside with all facilities you need and plenty of storage for self catering holiday plus a nice little outside terrace to sit and enjoy the weather. Host is friendly and provided lemons from own garden and welcome treats then left us to it after initial meeting but was easily contacted if needed.

Electric oven tripped electrics when used but no issues if use combi microwave and gas stove top. Extremely noisy at night as on main road so lots of traffic noise and people talking outside as late as 2am which windows dont reduce. Mattress liveable but not terribly comfortable. Would benefit from basic information instruction including how to open shutters and curtains, not to use oven, where to put rubbish when bins full, amount of washing per load (washed bath sheet/large towel/small bath mat which caused error as too heavy for spin cycle)
