As everything in this village it's less about comfort but more about the nature and bromo. Means: also the homestay is equipped with what is needed. Be aware: it gets cold in the night...
DEVery central and lovely people. Pick Up from Airport was possible and they drove us to Bromo and gave us good tips.The room was very clean. They even arranged a transfer to Banyuwangi since all the train tickets were sold out.

The bathroom was a little cold sometimes!
DEThe staff was helpful when we asked for extra blankets. Everything was in walking distance. And the view was amazing!
It was extremely cold, we couldn't close the bathroom door, the towels smelled used and the window of the bathroom was broken. We had to turn on the boiler to run the tap and flush and then the shower leaked.

There was no WiFi, no toilet paper and no soap. And those towels...tiny microfiber ones that got you wetter instead of drier...
DEThe room is super big and has two big beds. The host family owns a small restaurant two houses away. Since the accommodation is located directly at the main tour site, it can be a bit noisy, especially early in the morning when all the jeeps are heading towards the viewpoint. Normally, however, you are among those making the pilgrimage towards the viewpoint.
It gets super cold at night, so you should have warm clothes in your luggage. Hot water or total water is only available at certain times of the day. The electricity goes out again and again.
ESThe ubication and the mattress
The owner was very very rude, we had several uncomfortable situations everytime we needed something from him. There was rest of poo in the toilet, the toilet paper was almost finished when we arrived and we are three people.. no shampoo no soup in the toilet, and they cut off the water before we leave. The best of it was that we needed the room for sleeping only a few hours and mattresses and ubication were good.
