Every thing was as advertised

I was traveling with my daughter, so this was a very quick overnight stay. check in was easy and we were close to Midtown and Old Sacramento for some sightseeing. We loved the fact that we could spread out a little to the couch in the second room, and the special touches of tea, coffee, and water. I was especially happy to see the half&half, as I hate the powdered stuff. My husband and I will be returning to sacramento in the summer and I hope to stay at the Irene House again!

Great location and helpful host.

The host was very friendly! She met us at the door and let us in early. The place was very clean and super cute, exactly like the descriptions, the towels were great, the soap and ammentites provided were excellent. The location couldn't be beat, the neighborhood was clean and quiet. It was very cold and the little space heater fireplace kept the place nice and toasty and added to the experience. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels if needed.

I would have liked all the extra rules posted on the booking website . Although they are easy to follow and I understand why we are asked to do them, I would have liked to of known before reserving so I could make a decision on if I wanted to stay there and take on the small extra tasks. Parking is limited and we had a hard time parking late in the evening, but no issues during the day, read all the signs!!! We were assured they wouldn't enforce the rules but didn't take any chances, we followed the signs and had no issues.

Wonderful, charming neighborhood— within walking distance to several restaurants, cafes, historical sites.

Location was perfect. A couple blocks from the venue. Host was superb. We loved the great dane as well. Place was spacious and well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. Extremely easy entry and check out.

The location is less than 20 minutes from the airport, yet marvelously quaint. The old neighborhood has lovely historic architecture and a lovely canopy of trees. Every detail about the rooms exudes the host’s love of the house and hosting. The bed is quite comfortable. I lacked nothing.

El barri es molt agradable, aprop del centre i la casa es interessant. L’habitació era molt gran i agradable, amb molts detalls. Hi ha llocs per esmorzar molt aprop

El matalàs, tot i que ens agraden tous, aquest s’enfonsava molt i per dormir acompanyat no era pràctic, es notava molt quan es movia un dels dos. No vam aconseguir entendre el comandament de la TV, anirien bé mes instruccions
