Villa Egidio

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. Everything was fine at this little family-run accommodation. The hosts were kind and offered local guidance and all necessary information. The area is small but offers many options for fine dining restaurants and some really nice shops. There is a big paid parking 6-7 minutes from the accommodation.

Going up and down by foot requires a little bit of fitness, but its doable even if you're not in top shape. We carried our own luggage and it took about 7 minutes, almost all uphill. The kitchen is shared.

Amazing! Our stay far exceeded all expectations. The ladies hosting the property were just wonderful, they greeted us with a smile and Italian coffee. They always went out of their way to be helpful when we needed assistance with transport or recommendations. The room was clean, well equipped, with a great bathroom and incredible view / balcony. Delicious breakfast every morning. Do yourself a favour and book this accommodation for your stay in Ischia.

-- The breafast was nice, also our hosts provided us wth groceries to cook in the evening, as everyhting is closed in Sant'Angelo in December (next day we bough grocieris in another town) -- Gorgeous view from the balcony -- Bus stop close by

All was perfect! The ladies running the place are simply awesome, the location was great as well as the room, with a beautiful balcony with sea view. Breakfast was rich and with local fruits/cakes

It was wonderful to stay in a place with such friendly hosts, who were interested in daily conversation. We were also grateful for a garden room with outdoor space for the kids to play. In the bay of Sant'Angelo was a perfect sheltered beach for little kids.

Villa Egidio was fantastic. Ischia was a little run down behind the scenes and we had been hoping for better walking routes. We were also a little unlucky with the weather in the week we chose and sea was too rough to take taxi boats, but that can happen anywhere.

Wonderful accommodation with a beautiful view with very friendly hosts. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is plentiful, with a wide selection from savory to sweet, homemade cakes, fresh fruit. Close to the beach, water taxi to Maronti beach. Sant'Angelo is an incredibly peaceful, lovable place! I would go back anytime! Thank you for everything!
