Sobe EMILIJA

Our stay at Sobe Emilija was fantastic, as always - we stay here every summer. Fantastic location, 2 minute walk to the lake, everything you need is very close. Our room was quite spacious and had all basic equipment, comfy bed, sofa, kitchen, balcony, etc. Everything was clean. And Slobodan is the kindest host ever, always willing to help, entertain, or drive you somewhere. 10/10, will stay again!

The host Is awesome, we talked for a while in mixed english, German And serbian language but we understood each other well, all while he gave me coffee and recommend me a route for a bike. In the end he gifted me with small bottle of Spirit for a bad days... So danke sehr! Btw. Some maps are showing bad location of the apartment but Its along the way So just keep your eyes open for a house Like Its on the photos

All praise to the host! We got a bigger apartment than we expected, and it was much closer to the beach (100 meters). A good comfortable apartment with a great view. Anything you might need during a short stay is there.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, restaurants and also very quiet.

Good location relatively close to the beach

I've been travelling around Serbia and booking accommodation via Booking.com for a few years now. For any property to score above 9.0 it would have to be exceptional. "Sobe Emilija" is rated 9.5 which would imply a near perfection. Unfortunately, it did not come even close to this rating for following reasons: - Dirty shower with pubic hair inside - Used soap provided with some hair on it - Soap/Shampoo holder eaten by the rust. It leaves marks on the soap or anything you place on it - Dead insects on the bathroom window - No door or a curtain on the shower. Water splatters everywhere around the bathroom making the floor extremely slippery and a hazardous - There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom. As a result, it gets steamy a few minutes after the shower is turned on. Also, there's a mouldy smell emanating from the bathroom and throughout the living room. . -The window in the bathroom has no privacy screen and the neighbour above can clearly see inside. - Overall, bathroom doesn't appear to have been cleaned at all after previous guests - Very dim lights all around - One Bedside lamp not working - Uncomfortable, old, Squeaky bed that makes noises even after a slight movement. It makes sleeping very uncomfortable - I could smell BO from previous guests on pillows - Not a single glass present - Fridge wasn't clean. Freezer door was stuck, probably due to buildup of ice - Wi-Fi signal strength is so low it's useless - Picture on an ancient TV was stuttering and barely watchable - Spiderwebs all around the room - dead insects in the glass cover on ceiling lights - Soundproofing advertised on Booking.com is non existent. We could hear every sound coming from outside and especially, hallway from other guests passing by - No sun blocking blinds or curtains on windows. The blinds installed can't block any light and as a result we woke up early when sun came up around 6:00AM Overall, a very poor experience.

Fantastic location, just 5 minutes walk from Teo4 Basketball camp, Srebrno Jezero and walking promenade with restaurants. The owner of Sobe Emilija - Slobodan, absolutely fantastic person, meet us personally, showed where is parking, explain everything around, has recommended very good restaurant with 10% discount, later in the evening he was treated us with homemade wine! We didn't have a breakfast, but I have asked owner if it's possible to make it in the morning, and he have been cooked it for us! Simple one, - just fried eggs with cheese and vegetables, coffee from coffee machine, but he didn't even want to get paid for it! WiFi was good, he offered late check out for free! Without any hesitation I recommend Sobe Emilija for solo and family travelers, for short or long stay, it's very comfortable, cheap and has great value for more then reasonable price!
