Hello Hostel

The staff was quite friendly at first, and the location is really great, just next to Registan Square.

We chose this hostel over the others cause they had free breakfast, but the breakfast was almost non-existent. Only at 9am, nothing but an egg, a weird looking sausage i didn’t want and a cup of tea. The bread was really bad and the breakfast didn’t make you full at all. Then, there are only two toilets with included showers for the entire hostel, which always smell really gross and are never vacant. Furthermore, the toilets are on the other side of the courtyard, so you always need to get fully dressed at night, go down, pass the „reception“ (a big table with a laptop) where the receptionist will always stare at you, and cross the entire yard. The receptionists are nice, but when we paid i had to argue with them to get the right exchange rate. Also, there is is really no real hostel atmosphere in this hostel. We were alone with some older uzbek men, no other travellers were there. Not saying that a hostel should always have that, but I’m just writing this so that others know what to expect. For 8€ a night, I’m sure you can find smth better suited for a backpacking journey. Also the whole hostel is made without much love, any decoration, or anything convenient for travellers (like maps, lockers, anything).

The hospitality. Azamat the owner is a helpful and supportive guy. In terms of service and hospitality, this one was the best hostel I’ve visited during my solo travel for the last 10 years. Rahmat Azamat!

Need to change some beds and linen. The rest are good.

Because the yard and room are spacious. It was nice to have a sense of openness.

The facilities are outdated ~ it seems that investment is necessary.

The location was just ideal, almost right next to Registan. Host was very friendly too . Laundry was available and free as well as bag storage very helpful.

The bathroom/shower was too far from the rooms. The hotel doesn't have a name outside, so it is a bit hard to find it.

The location is perfect, only 2mins from Registan square. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are pretty. Great breakfast
