Despite the small streets surrounding this property, I always found free parking for our small rental car. We rented both rooms in this apartment and it was a perfect size for my son and I. One bedroom with a large bed and a single size bed are upstairs along with a bathroom and a deck. The lower room has a big bed and it's own bathroom. The shower has great pressure though the temperature changes at times (on-demand hot water heater is my guess). There are stairs up to the front door and the trash and recycling are located next to the front door which is convenient though confusing what to do when they get full if you're staying long or cooking and therefore creating rubbish. The host, Antonella, is extremely kind, hospitable, and communicative. She meets you upon arrival and explains everything even using a translator if you don't speak Italian. The small village was nice to stay in and we walked to dinner or breakfast often but had to drive to grocery stores since they're located way up the hill. There is a utility room with a washer and clothes horse and any cleaning supplies you might need. The interesting thing is there was really no adjustment period for me in this unit, no discomfort period wondering if there were critters or ghosts lurking about, there was almost immediate comfort and it stayed that way for the duration. I found the property comfortable.

The only thing that I really didn't like was the lack of a microwave but I did blow the circuit when using 3 appliances at once (which Antonella was very, very fast at coming over and helping with thankfully!), so maybe there's no microwave because of a power issue. We had two evenings of slow internet, other times it was great. Some smaller things I didn't care for which was, just my personal taste, there are a few too many trinkets and knickknacks. Also I didn't understand prior to staying that there is no cleaning service (I suppose this explains the utility closet with cleaning supplies!) and I think you may need to request fresh linens and towels - our stay teetered on the edge of needing them so we didn't request any. I didn't care for the flat memory foam pillows but found some fluffy pillows in the utility closet which solved my issue. The unit doesn't get a lot of light if that's a concern for you. There are very few things that I didn't like and those things really didn't impact my stay.

Host molto gentile e disponibile. Struttura pulita e curata nei particolare. Posizione centrale. Consiglio vivemente.

Bardzo czysto, bardzo komfortowo, prywatna łazienka i udogodnienia na wysokim poziomie. Bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka. Mieliśmy pokój na piętrze z balkonem i wyjściem na taras na dachu. Na dole wspólna kuchnia, dobrze wyposażona w sprzęt do gotowania, lodówkę, kuchenkę a nawet zmywarkę. Auto zaparkowane na darmowym parkingu 200m od kwatery (pod kościołem), dostępne darmowe miejsca. Polecam! Jeden z najlepszych noclegów jakie mieliśmy na Sycylii w tym budżecie :)
