The location in Viscri was near the fortified church and it was delightful being part of the community in a traditional house. The host was very friendly and helpful and made a delicious breakfast with local cheeses and jam. Our room was a traditional room with lots of local artifacts and touches to make you feel at home.

The rooms itself were clean, simply decorated; breakfast ok.

The toilet was dirty and wasn't empty when I got there; I flushed it and realised the water just rises up, raised this issue to the owner who denied there was anything wrong at first, then suggested I or the previous visitors had dropped something inside. The toilet was basically unusable as it was, she said she might try to fix it or have someone fix it the next day, offered to reimburse me for only one of the nights if I left. It wasn't an option anyway since everything was booked out and I had to stay in the village. The next day she simply walked into my room while I was in a towel, I told her I was uncomfortable with her doing that, she ignored that and went on to fix the toilet, which she somehow managed almost 24hrs into my visit. Later that day she walked in a second time without permission to complain about me wearing shoes inside the room, though she hadn't mentioned anything about that before. I complained about her simply walking into my room and the lack of privacy and she started raising her voice at me, spoke to me with extreme rudeness, staying that "it is her house", that she is twice my age, that I have issues and that she couldn't sleep thinking of the toilet. It was the worst accomodation experience I've ever had; paid full-price for insults and a non-flushing toilet for a large portion of the time. Plumbing issues aside this is completely unacceptable behaviour. Do not recommend.
