"Good for a couple of nights"

It was comfortable for a couple of nights. They serve free breakfast: either fruit or some kind of Mexican food. It was a nice place to meet other travellers.

The neighbouring hostel had a big party until morning hours. It was very loud as if someone played music next to my ear.

This spot is amazing! Came back two weeks after my first trip because it was a great stay! Staff were always amazing and friendly and made my stay feel great! Answered any questions and had tons of great recommendations! Shout outs to Karla, she surprised me and got some of the staff like Hans to sing me Happy Birthday and made my day!! A day I’ll never forget! And always great seeing Canela, their beautiful and friendly dog 🐶 ♥️ she’s great! Thanks for the great memories and making me feel at home!!! 💪 😤 definitely recommend this spot!! 💯 😎

"Next door night club ruined our stay 😞"

Good location, lovely staff.

We didn’t sleep 😞 there is an open air VERY loud party night/night club in the hostel next door until 3am on Saturdays. We didn’t know about this and had a sunrise Padel board trip booked for the next morning - I got one hour sleep, my boyfriend didn’t sleep at all. It really ruined our experience here. On other nights the very loud music finishes earlier.

"El mejor hostal de Bacalar"

Nos sentimos extremandamente cómodos en el hostal, Belen y yo venimos de Chile y seguido viajamos a hostales de viajeros, Elmar es extraordinario, el espacio circular te da la privacidad de no tener alguien enfrente, las instalaciones siempre están limpias. Y lo más improtante es que la energía del hostal es tan tranquila que uno puede realemente relajarse. Tambien especial agradecimiento a todo el equipo que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Ahh hay lavandería gratis eso es maravilloso!!!
