Luxury Apartment Contesa

I was here for the Summer Sensual Days. The apartment's location is a great spot for everything to do with the event. It was super close to the Open Air event and the Pier Parties. Walking was 2-3 minutes. The Old Town Factory is probably an 8-10 minute walk. This is awesome! The apartment is also close to TWO stores. This is very convenient. There is a fresh food open market 1-2 minutes away. There is a bakery that opens at 7am. Comes in handy after dancing all morning. I should try to bring a chef friend next time. 😀 In regards to the amenities with the apartment, it wins with having a washer/dryer. BEST feature for me! I love to have clean clothes ready for the next event versus bringing my whole closet and an XL baggage. Travel light. Travel smart. The room has a modern look with AC and a kitchen. I just didn't have to make my own meals when there were 20 restaurants outside the apartment. I lie, I don't know how to cook. Haha. *bring a 👨‍🍳 chef. I do not have anything negative to comment on. The host was quick to reply to my messages through the 24-hour day. She is very sweet, nice, and humble. I will definitely book again.

I didn't like the fact I didn't know how to cook, so I really didn't use the kitchen. Next time, I will try to use the kitchen.

Very good communication with the owner. We had some small technical problems and they were quickly resolved by the owner despite it was on a late evening. The owner offered us late check out. Very modern, brand new apartment. Really spacious. Arranged really in a good style. Strict centre of Rovinj, very close to restaurants and small shops. Large parking 5 minutes away from the apartment.

The amount of hot water in the boiler tank was very limitted, sufficient only for shower of one person. After that the second of us (and third, and fourth...) needed to wait longer time for water to heat up. Boiler tanks are the usual solution in Croatia, but we also stayed in apartments where the amount of water was sufficient for showers of two persons. We spent there two nights. The second night was perfect, but during the first one it was difficult to sleep. Between 2am and 3am someone woke us up with a 5 minutes long sound like banging at wall or floor. At 4am there was a very loud talk (not sure if from inside of the building, or outside). After 6am there was a truck noise from the street (either delivery or rubbish collection, I am not sure).
