Agriturismo Lumia Resort

Brand-new and modern, clean, very good breakfast. We liked everything about Lumia Resort which was recently opened. It is in a lush garden with lemon trees with a nice view of the Etna vulcano. The kids loved the spacious pool and playground. Convenient to visit Mount Etna and Taormina.

The hotel was very confortable, the space in the pool and around was very nice. The manager was great, always nice to us and available. We had a late flight and allowed to do a later checkout which was very important for our family. Highly recomend this hotel, only 10 rooms and big space and looks like is managed by a family were everyone is nice.

Peaceful, excellent for family. Nice room and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Spacious and private, with an amazing team of people (Patrizia who took care of us during breakfast, Daniela and her amazing cooking and Martina, alongside their employers Carlo and Stefano) focused on making us feeling welcomed and relaxed during our 12 days stay. Outdoor play area, with slide, swing, monkey bars, ping-pong table and loads of space to play for the children. The resort is within 15 min walking and 3 min by car to Riposto Porto Turistico, where you can find restaurants, fresh fruit and fish markets and the beach (rocky one, which keeps the water crystal clear but do need water shoes). It is also within 20 min drive from Giardini Naxos (where you can find a very vibrant atmosphere, water activities like boat hire, parasailing etc.) and 30 min drive from Taormina (with less than 1 EUR highway cost each way). The breakfast is spot on, the pool is big enough, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. Well equipped (toiletries, TV, fridge, high speed internet, etc.) and with stunning views towards Etna, Lumia was just amazingly relaxing and perfect for our summer holiday.

Maybe they could add some bicycles for the guests to use. Other than that, I really don't have anything to complain about. The place is amazing.
