Kimbas Bungalows Mancora

I love the style of Kimbas! I have been to Thailand and Bali and this resort 100% replicated the style. Staff was friendly and helpful! 5 minute walk to beach and also to the downtown area. At night we use moto taxi which was 3 to 5 soles. This will be my stay at Mancora’s from now on! All staff was helpful! Am bad with names but Bruno was super nice!

Gorgeous bungalows, had a lovely, quiet stay here. Away from the main road but close enough (5 mins walk) to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

A little oasis of serenity. Beautiful staff, particularly Alexandra and Bruno who couldn't be more wonderful. The gardens and lodgings are incredibly well maintained and immaculate. Our rooms were absolutely spotless each day and the dip pool was the perfect way to end our day. The property is just a couple of hundred metres or so from the beach and accessible without walking along the road. Mancora is a wonderful little surf town with plenty of life and some incredibly friendly and outgoing locals. Kimbas offers everything we needed and provided a superb base.

No criticisms at all, but observations that are worth noting. You will need mosquito repellent - Mancora in general is pretty active on that front and the beautiful Balinese gardens bring their fair share (note Kimbas offer you plugs/tablets which is incredibly thoughtful). I see the criticisms made regarding the water pressure but personally I don't expect power showers in lodging as authentic as this ... it was more than adequate and removed the sand and cream without issue. Personally I would much rather this style of accommodation than a Hilton vibe any day. Each to their own.

Everyone was very nice and the Hotel is very cute with a nice pool. It was possible to book a private yoga class, which was really good. The hotel is only a short walk to the touristy area and the beach.

Beautiful rooms among a lush garden with very friendly staff away from the noise of town but still steps away from the primary surf spot and great food. Great massage available for 80 soles. Yoga classes too but didn't try. They gave spot on recommendations - food on wheels away from the chaotic beach center was super chill and they had a skimboard you could use for free and the food was super good, especially the conchas a la parmesano. Breakfast is a nice fruit salad with eggs and bread and jam/butter and coffee with milk.

Just slightly above my typical price range but beautiful facilities, great staff, and away from the noise of town.

Nice little oasis... And ofcourse I enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast
