Wanaka Station Apartment

Besser geht eigentlich nicht. Top ausgestattet. Ist das Geld vollkommen wert.

The whole layout was just superb! Aesthetically pleasing. 😍 Fantastic location! The Wanaka station park is just over the road to meander through. Leading you towards the famous Wanaka tree and breathtaking views!!!!🏔🏞

No lake view but very short walk to the lake.

The position of the apartment is across the road from Wanaka Station park and a very short walk to the Wanaka tree. Inside the unit is quiet even though it's close to a road. Two toilets is a bonus. Equiped with everything you need in the kitchen for self catering, this is the reason we choose apartments. Bed and pillows pretty good. Good shower pressure. Very clean. Has laundry facilities.

We felt a bit uncomfortable with the reminders about breakages and other frequent information sent. I didn't wash my hair as we were informed that we were assigned only one towel each which is inadequate when you have long thick hair, and felt we may have been charged if we used the ones from the second bedroom. I needed to clean and de cobweb the egg chair on the patio before it could be used.

It was a beautiful property and would have been perfect if we had a car but we didn’t so the 1.3 mile each way into town got tiring.

The lock box was a bit of a hassle. I learned that you need to have the open code on it before you close it and the keys set to the right… once I understood it … all was good… we would have liked to use the fireplace but couldn’t figure out how to turn it on despite instructions.
