Terra Villas

This villa was amazing with modern facilities and large bedrooms / en-suites (best pillows ever), in a great location, just a short Tuk ride to the beach and lots of places to eat. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. There were even a troop of monkeys that came to visit.

Dogs wandering freely so kept coming into the villa garden.

Crazy villa and the most beautiful I have seen in the area Everything is new and perfect, the pool and the rooms are very clean There is a good atmosphere and smell everywhere We liked that there is a washing machine that you can wash clothes and of course it is part of the most amazing resort in Sri Lanka The staff is excellent and their level of service is very high There is a huge balcony that overlooks parts of a jungle with monkeys and dragon lizards just crazy

Amazing stay in Terra Villas. The villa is brand new, and is exactly as described on the pictures. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, the pool is amazing, and the whole location is calm and feels very high-end. The restaurant and yoga classes are amazing as well.

As everywhere in Sri Lanka, you might encounter some animals in the garden. We spotted some monkeys enjoying the pool area one morning. The staff has been quick to answer and clean everything.

The Villa is completely stuffed with cooking equipment, TV and stereo system and so on. The staff is lovely and helped with everything we wanted. We came together six friends and just had amazing time, we'll definitely come back.

The location is very handy: Surfing spots are easily accessible within a couple of minutes driving. Kabalana beach is around the corner, in walking distance. And yes, Ahangama has been flourishing in regard to tourism in the last couple of years. A concept resort like theirs in this location is just great! The villa is definitely a great way to have privacy while still being attached to a hotel with café and yoga space. Everything is quite newly built (the villa was a bit over a year old when we visited in January 2024). The interior design is modern, all kept in Boho style. The garden is lush and green.

We expected more for this price based on the listing. It is like they want to hit luxury, but they just can't fulfil their own expectations: When we arrived, the person who welcomed us first wanted to get the payment done, while we were still standing in the garden, not having had entered the space. Then, she gave us a super short check in, without being able to answer questions fluently in English. It left us feeling it's all about the money, not about hosting. We didn't know whom to contact for inquiries, questions, room service or similar, as there is no phone in the house and no contact number. Instead, we had to walk through the whole resort to the reception to ask for basic things. A random private local number texted us a day before arrival about our arrival time. Very unprofessional. The villa is equipped with one type of socket with no universal plug adapter. When we asked for an adapter, a staff member walked in. Without asking or informing, he entered the private rooms to check if we are telling the truth. It felt intruding. The ground floor room is so small that we couldn't open our standard sized suitcase next to the bed. Definitely badly planned. We couldn't open the glass sliding doors to the garden, as the mosquitoes were just all over the place. The villa comes with a nice kitchen area. Though, basics like coffee, tea, sweetener and milk were not available initially. It was brought in simple plastic bags from the shop after we had asked for it. When asking for more refill water, the bar wanted to charge us 1 USD per 1 litre bottle. The menu in the hotel café is quite specific; we tried the breakfast once, but weren't big fans. Though, they also say that breakfast is not available when we booked the villa. Overall, the place has so much potential. We hope for them to improve (staff training, understanding the needs of their target group), then we would consider coming back.

The most amazing place we’ve been in seri lanka and one of the best in all our trips ever. perfect vibe, pictures cannot describe. if it’s in your budget (and even if it's not) book it. big rooms amazing pool and beautiful garden and plants. recommend!

The villa was was simply amazing! New, clean and well located

The villa is very big and comfortable. If I will be back in Sri lanka, i would think of comming there. BUt only to the villas the rooms in hotel part are average.

The villas have private pools which are great but, the staff just randomly goes into your swimming pool area to take something from storage. Its not good when you want privacy and suddenly someone is walking around you. They do not inform you that they will be comming over. The food in their restaurant is overpriced, could be better and bigger portions.

A modern villa with good facilities. Very well looked after. Clean. Modern shower rooms with hot water and soap, shower gel and shampoo. Great Air Con. Lovely new resort next door to get drinks at bar or breakfast, lunch and dinner and 'good coffee'. Very welcoming and friendly staff who went out of their way to help.

Internet let it down (I'm sure this will be fixed ASAP). Probably a quick fix with more boosters. We did ask and they tried to fix but still we could only get internet outside by the pool and not in any rooms in the villa and TV did not work because of this. We were out most of the time so it did not spoil our stay.

Wonderful new villas. It's cozy inside, new furniture and new utensils in the kitchen, everything you need for cooking is in the bathrooms. Cleaning was done every day. Convenient location in the Ahangama area, all local delicious and beautiful places are close. Terra Resort has its own cafe, where the food is delicious and the staff is friendly.
