La Grenadine

Zeer goede ligging in het centrum. Veilige buurt om 's avonds nog op straat te komen om iets te gaan eten. Zeer lekker ontbijt, met verse smoothie's, vers brood. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie binnentuin. Grote kamer. Goeie uitvalsbasis. Parkeergelegenheid.

Eén kleine opmerking: als het gordijn in de badkamer open was, was er inkijk (toilet). Misschien een lichtdoorlatend gordijntje hangen? Nu enkel een verduisterend gordijn, waardoor je moet kiezen tussen inkijk of onnatuurlijk licht.

So tranquil, tucked away from the noise of Cape Town and yet in the centre of a popular area of cafes and restaurants. The gardens are dappled in sunlight with the sound of running water from the fountain. The room was spacious and light, with a comfortable bed and a hot powerful shower. The team seem to be more like family than colleagues. They make you feel at home, and are very attentive without being intrusive. Great breakfast options with fresh juices, tea and coffee. If you are looking for a home-from-home, peaceful, welcoming, comfortable place to stay then this is it.

Le petit déjeuner très bon. Service accueillant, excellent emplacement dans la ville, jardin sympa. grande gentillesse des 'patrons', de jeunes français en stage.

Leuk hotel centraal toch rustig gelegen in de wijk gardens; kloofstreet is om de hoek.

Gordijnen erg dun zodat het te licht in de kamer is. De laatste nacht stond er een harde wind en alles klapperde zodat we geen oog dichtdeden

Very cute French vibes, lovely quiet garden in an amazing location with everything you need within a short walk.

We repeatedly saw rats running around the garden, up the side of the building and in & out of the bins. We saw them every night of our 4 night stay and so have to assume they are resident here. They didn’t put us off sitting in the garden but we were worried about the possibility of rats in the room/the living area where food was left out for breakfast and snacks. We were careful not to leave food in the room or leave the door & window unattended but it only takes one less careful guest for them to take up residence in the rooms. Additionally, when booking we missed that there was no air con in the room we booked, given AC is listed on the property details as a whole. The ceiling fan was too noisy but they provided an additional standing fan which meant we were able to sleep comfortably in the summer heat even without air con.

Een parel in de drukte van de stad met een fantastische tuin en sfeervolle kamers met oog voor detail.

Dat er akkoord moest komen van mijn bank waardoor ik m’n originele simkaart moest gebruiken waardoor ik extra, onnodige kosten moest maken.
