The garden and pool ( even though we could not use it as too cold) the terrace views are stunning. The kitchen was very well equipped. The communication with the owner was good, and she linked quickly with Bruno when needed Location close to Santana and not too far from airport although weather cooler on this side of the island.

Unfortunately the house is a bit cold and there is a lot of humidity, we had to use the heaters as were cold especially at night. Also there is bad smell in one of the bathrooms and there is need of further house maintenance (replace several light bulbs, better clean the roof lamps etc)

The large outdoor space was great- beautiful views, pool and lush surroundings. The house and grounds were clean and well kept, garage was a plus. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and items needed for cooking.

The linens (towels, bedding and pillows) were very old, grey, rough and the pillows were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable, making a decent sleep tough. These items definitely need an upgrade. We had to bring blankets from the un- used third bedroom for warmth, as the coverings on the bed were very thin, and even then we were very chilly at night. One of the baths had a strong sewage smell, we kept that door closed and didn't use that bathroom.

The villa was spacious, peaceful, and beautifully located with amazing views over Faial. The facilities were excellent — the kitchen was one of the best stocked I’ve ever seen, with everything you could possibly need, even proper fish knives! The pool was a really good size, and the whole place felt well cared for. The towels and bedding smelt fantastic, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. We had a couple of small issues on arrival (no hot water and a door that wouldn’t lock), but Bruno sorted both out very quickly and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay

Overall, I absolutely loved it — but if I had to be picky, the pool was quite cold (can’t be helped!), and there were only two sunbeds and two chairs. Since the villa sleeps six, a few more would make it perfect for relaxing by the pool. The TV in the lounge could also be a bit larger for comfortable evening viewing. Only bath towels and flannels were provided, so a few hand towels would have been appreciated.

Tolle Zeit in einer tollen Unterkunft gehabt...Wir werden auf jeden fall wiederkommen!
