Very central, lovely historic area, free parking...

Η διαμονή μας στο Downtown Charm στο Ρέικιαβικ δεν ανταποκρίθηκε στις προσδοκίες μας σε σχέση με την τιμή. Πριν την άφιξη αλλά και πριν την αναχώρηση λάβαμε πολλά μηνύματα με κανόνες, ενώ υπήρχε και έντυπο με τα ίδια στο διαμέρισμα και αν κάτι δεν τηρούσαμε από όλα αυτά θα υπήρχε χρηματικό κόστος, κάτι που δημιούργησε περισσότερο αίσθηση πίεσης παρά φιλοξενίας. Παρόλα αυτά, τηρήσαμε όλα όσα μας ζητήθηκαν και αφήσαμε τον χώρο σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση. Ωστόσο, η καθαριότητα δεν ήταν η αναμενόμενη: βρήκαμε ταψί με λάδια στον φούρνο, σπασμένη πιατέλα, φθαρμένα σκεύη και τρίχες στο ντους που δεν αποστράγγιζε σωστά. Το κτήριο είναι παλιό και δεν δικαιολογεί την τιμή. Επίσης, δεν υπήρξε καμία ευελιξία στο θέμα του πάρκινγκ, παρόλο που ζητήσαμε μικρή παράταση με πρόθεση να πληρώσουμε. Συνολικά, δεν θεωρούμε ότι αξίζει τα χρήματα.

The location of the accommodation was excellent – convenient, quiet, and perfect for exploring the area. This was definitely the biggest advantage of our stay.

However, we were disappointed with some basic amenities. We booked the unit for 7 nights for 4 adults, and only two rolls of toilet paper were provided. It would also have been appreciated if there had been enough dishwasher tablets for the stay, as well as a new dishwashing sponge. None of these items are expensive, but when a group stays for several days, it really makes a difference not having to immediately go out and buy basic necessities upon arrival. This is especially important since these items were listed as being included in the accommodation price.

Lovely, well appointed kitchen & modern decor. Perfect location to walk all around town.

Shower needs updating.

Location of the property was wonderful. The size of the apartment was also great for my family of 4. Really appreciated having a washer/dryer in the unit.

The bathroom was very small and the shower was difficult to shower in. The bathroom was also very dimly lit, making it hard to do makeup in it. Also, would appreciate shades that are much more blackout for the summer months.

Great location! Very spacious and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen.
