Fadidi House

Staff was super friendly. I and my friend do not speak French but the staff tried his best to communicate with us in English, which I found to be very helpful. He even took us around at night and helped us exchange currency from local shops. Clean room and bathrooms, even had AC, safe environment; I never felt unsafe when walking in the neighborhood. Value for money and I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Dakar.

No lift, so if you have big luggage you might struggle a little bit.

Incredible host, unique decor and comfortable rooms. From the large rooms to the rooftop and help I received from the host getting around, it was the best place I stayed during my trip. Strongly recommend.

Very welcoming hosts, always available. The place is beautiful and the terrace top-notch. I liked that they taught me some Wolof and always invited me for meals (excellent food!). There is a kitchen with fridge to store food and warm water in the shower.

The kitchen for guests was not operative (the cooking plates and oven), but hosts allowed me to cook in the other kitchen.

The team were fantastic, couldn't have been more helpful with local info, etc. On my arrival day I luckily arrived at lunchtime and was treated to an Amazing Senegalese meal with the family. There is use of a kitchen and fridge/freezer. Internet is great. Booze shop right downstairs. Boucar arranged a driver for me to bring me back to Saly - very reasonable. Strongly suggest that you go to Loman Art 10 mins walk away. Directly outside Dem Dekk bus station, So many things close by: Almedies Point, African Liberation Monument, Ouakam beach, Mosque, N'Gour Island, Goree port is 30 mins / 2000 XOF by cab

The rooftop could have been better arranged, and the rooms could do with a refresh, but that is being really, super picky! There are no bars in the immediate vicinity, but Loman Art is only 10 mins walk.

Boulcar is very nice and is always available to help.

The house doesn’t look clean.

I loved this place! It is tastefully decorated with a beautiful rooftop lounge area and live music. The breakfast is so good, and the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. Amazing price for such a wonderful place. Beds were comfortable and the location is locked and safe. Loved it!
