Solitaire Mountain Lodge

Tutto perfetto. Location in mezzo alla natura. Staff cordiale che ti fa sentire come a casa, ottima la cena e la colazione. Stanza arredate con gusto. Letto comodo, nel quale ho dormito benissimo. WiFi perfettamente funzionante.

Schöne Lodge. Gut als Zwischenstopp zwischen Swakopmund und Sossusvlei. Cheetah Tour mit Sundowner nur zu Empfehlen.

Beautiful location, good food, spacious room

Wirklich einzigartige Lodge mitten in der Wüste. Man kann nachts Tiere beobachten - wir haben Zebras am lodge-eigenen Wasserflächen entdecken können. Auf Anfrage wurde uns für den Ausflug nach Sossusvlei auch früh morgens ein sehr gut gepacktes Lunchpaket vorbereitet.

Essen hat uns nicht wirklich zugesagt. Das ist immer etwas schade, wenn drum herum keine Alternativen sind. Die Karte könnte abwechslungsreicher sein bzw. auch mehr regionale Gerichte beinhalten. Es waren wirklich sehr viele Mosquitos in den Zimmern.

The property is beautiful, with many types of pretty cacti. Everything is well taken care of, and these is a nice pool to relax by. They offer a Cheetah drive where you can see wild Cheetahs. Breakfast was nice with a buffet and eggs cooked on request. There is also optional dinner with good options (and options for vegans as well). The room was spacious with a terrace that has a beautiful view.

The only issue we had was that the room did not have protective nets so mosquitos did enter it and bother us.

The entrance glass door with an outside light directly in front. Daylight inside. Standing in the lobby and order dinner on arrival. (But therefore no wait at the table). No starter options.
