The pool was nice to have access to. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

I wish the other rooms had a terrace or some kind of view.

It's very nice and quiet place very close to the main touristic area and main beach. There is also a small pool for lazy guys who don't want to go to the beach. And there is very good local food served for the breakfast.

It was the perfect stay for us in San Juan Del Sur. Perfect location, big comfi bed, nice pool & the best breakfast made by Teresa! She was always super kind and helpful. The price-quality was just right. For us a 10/10!

The flooring outside pool can be very slippery and was a giant frog swimming in it

Great location, close to the beach but In a quiet spot. Spacious room with ac. Very enjoyable with the weather. Comfortable bed. Breakfast of quality

The shower, in our room, the cold water button wasn't working well, we barely have pression with the cold water. If you want a correct debit, the water is boiling hot. Been said but not fixed unfortunately. For the price paid it's a bit sad. Also, the room supposedly come with a great view, our room had a view over the metallic roof. Could be better. Description of the room should be changed on booking

Location is excellent. Pool was great. Teresa is a great host and makes an awesome breakfast. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Dog barking in property next door was very annoying thru out night.

The deluxe seaview is spacious and has a nice balcony.

Some things are a bit worn down like the outdoor seats/cushions and the toilet seat. Also it can het quite noisy in San Juan with loud music from places near the beach and barking dogs

Expectation to wear a wristband throughout days we stayed so security staff would know we were staying there (!) which was a very strange arrangement since there are only a relatively small number of rooms (around 5 or 6) Overall we were glad to leave this accommodation. It had an odd vibe, like staying in someone else's home as not-particularly-welcome guests...

It's in a great location with a wonderfully refreshing plunge pool. Hot water in the showers was a great bonus and there was filtered water for free (but see negative comment!). Room was a good size and breakfast was great.

Please train your staff to deal with guests in a friendly manner. Even though we spoke Spanish we were mostly greeted with grunts and a feeling that they were doing us a favour. I was constantly filling up the water filter or asking them to do it. If you are going to be green and have these facilities they need to be kept on top of. Others have complained about the mattress and that the two put together to make the King sized bed are put the wrong way leaving a big ridge down the middle of the bed, but going across and not down! We would have stayed longer but the price inexplicably doubled for any further nights. I just don't understand the pricing policy. Yes, it's a $40-50 hostel but it is most definitely not a $70-80 hotel!
