I stayed at Castillo Rio while travelling for work. Great stay, very comfortable, clean, great location and the host Theresa was amazing. Would 100% recommend!

The breakfast was okay. More variety would be great. One day, there should be fried eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomato, and toast; the next day, there could be a great omelette with pork sausages, mushrooms and toast; the next day, there could be scrambled eggs, potato fritter, mushrooms, bacon, and toast, etc. Please indicate clearly on Bookings that there are about 25 plus stairs to get to your room. I am 67, my spouse 62, and she wanted her brother, who is a diabetic and a double amputee in a wheelchair, to visit us, but it was impossible.

There are all the stairs to get to the rooms. Not wheelchair friendly. We inquired about stairs when we booked, and the response was that there were no stairs at the floor-level unit we were booked into. This is a twisted truth because to get to the floor level, there are more than 25 stairs.
