Skógar Lodge

What a fantastic location! Just a few minutes from Skógafoss and with wonderful views of the mountains, this was a relaxing place to spend some time. With four bedrooms - all with en-suite bathrooms - and a large open living area, we had lots of space to enjoy our stay. The hot tub is wonderful and we spent much time in there. This is a fantastic option for families and mixed groups when most places are too small for everyone to have their own space. The living area has been decorated beautifully, and is a very cosy and comfortable place to chill out after a day’s hiking and sightseeing. Highly recommended.

There was nothing at all that we didn’t like! Even when we had trouble connecting to the WiFi, the host was so helpful and responsive that our glitch was sorted very quickly with a minimum of stress. This is a great place to stay.

Great location in the middle of grassland. And it even.has a Jacuzzi, it is pitiful i didn't have time to enjoy it. We are 8 people, this house allowed us to cook. We had a great time there. By the way, it is very close to Skogafoss.

If it is cleaner, it will be better.

Very comfortable and excellent location near to skogar and vik. The beds are comfy and the property is even nicer than in the pictures. They have a washing and drying machine. In booking it stated only washing machine. They have heating towels facilities

The thermostat in the room was not working and it was super hot. We couldn't sleep with an open window due to high winds.

Przytulny, minimalistyczny lodge położony tuż przy wodospadzie Skógafoss — świetna, spokojna baza z bezpośrednim dostępem do szlaków i spektakularnych widoków południowego wybrzeża. Proste, wygodne pokoje i praktyczne zaplecze (pełne wyposażenie). Sympatyczna właścicielka, która błyskawicznie zareagowała po zgłoszeniu problemu z WIFI.

Die Unterkunft ist einfach zauberhaft und entspricht in jeder Hinsicht den Bildern. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein, um die Umgebung in all ihrer Schönheit zu entdecken. Besonders empfehlen wir, sich einen Zeit zu nehmen und im Haus zu verweilen, um die atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Natur zu genießen – sie ist nicht nur grandios, sondern auch unglaublich beruhigend. Sollte es uns irgendwann wieder nach Island ziehen, würden wir ohne Zweifel erneut hier übernachten.
