Pine House Sorrento

We had a wonderful stay in this 3-bedroom apartment. It was clean, had spacious bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and an equipped kitchen. The location was ideal for us. The apartment is a very close walk (3-5 min) to Piazza Tasso (which is the eastern edge of the heart of the restaurant/shop core of Sorrento). The Smart Home Holiday team for Pine House was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. If we are in Sorrento again, we would definitely try to stay at Pine House. If it’s not available, because of the quality of our stay, we’d check out other Smart Holiday Sorrento listings before looking elsewhere.

Very central location with Cafe's and small shops for Cheese and Salami just ariound the corner. Very close to train station. Very Quite in the apartment. Full kitchen! Balcony to enjoy a glass of wine.

Steps in front. There is an elevator in the building, but a few steps to get into the building.

The location and the space was very nice.

No dryer.

The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a good utility room with iron, ironing board etc. It was located a short walk from the town centre and also the train station, which was was great. It was fairly easy for our airport transfer to drop us off and pick us up although there was no parking place immediately outside the property. There was a lift which was useful getting the luggage to the 4th floor. The apartment did look like it did in the photographs and was had a high end finish. It was also a secure place to stay. Sorrento was a fantastic place to stay and it was easy to explore the surrounding area without needing a car.

It was not possible to close the balcony doors when you were on the balcony, this meant that mosquitos could get into the apartment. It was also quite noisy on the balcony. After staying in many self catering places in the UK, we are used to some sort of 'welcome pack' - a bottle of wine, or packet of biscuits and some information about what is in the local area. There was nothing like this in the apartment, although the host gave us some information through the booking.com chat facility. A visitor book would also allow you to see other people's experiences and decide what you might like to do yourself. The apartment was a premium apartment, so we would have expected something like this. The television did not have any subscriptions to English speaking channels that we could find but it was a good thing not to watch tv for a week!

Everything was perfect! Location ! Amenities! And communication! Is was our first time In Sorrento and the host was very helpful with area information. I also wanted to thank them for helping me with a delivery for an item I left behind in avellino . Place was well equipped and immaculate. Location was centrally situated and we walked to most places everyday . Highly recommend this place!!

The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. It has everything a family or group would need.

Pine Sorrento apt. is a Great location only 5’ walk to pedestrians shopping , restaurants area 10-15’ walk to harbor to catch the boat go many places 20-30’ walk to bus station The modern 3 bedroom apt. have 2 1/2 bath , the property provide plenty Of kitchen supplies , make you feel like at home and a plus the building have a elevator I’m highly recommend spacious Pine Sorrento apartment

It’s very difficult for seniors people have to walk up with carry heavy luggages by stairs to the main door of the building

The apartment is spacious and comfortable and within good walking distance of the town and the railway station. Supermarket is close by.

There is a very busy road outside, which is noisy and polluted. We think it was because we were perhaps the first visitors of the season that the apartment wasn’t as clean as it could be, some things didn’t work (the hob, one of the showers was blocked) and it felt as if the place could do with a good clean and freshen up before we arrived. There were also some bare wires hanging from the wall in the kitchen. We arrived over 24 hours late due to a flight cancellation but we’re still asked to pay the full city tax, and there was no folder of information for guests with recommendations, wifi code, emergency information/contacts which would have been helpful.

Lo/cation was minutes from city square. There were lots of restaurants and cafe's near by. Easy access for our driver to get us. Very quiet building with great balcony sitting for evening drinks.

Everything was really nice. Just 1 small thing which was not really a big deal but for longer stays it would have been nice for extra towels for bathing instead of having to wash them. There may have been some and we just couldn't locate them.
