Casa Ravello with terrace & garden

The space was perfect, location was good, the view was amazing 😍

We are a family of four (two adults and two teenagers) and our stay at Casa Ravello was simply unforgettable. In Ravello, we were deeply impressed by the beauty of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone — their architecture, gardens, and especially the breathtaking perspectives framed by windows and terraces. Casa Ravello is located just a few steps away from Villa Rufolo, almost like its little annex, and shares the same stunning views that truly take your breath away. Every morning, the sunrise from the terrace was absolutely spectacular, and every evening felt like stepping into a scene from Cinema Italiano. Our host, Daniele, was exceptional — kind, punctual, and always ready to help. Not only did he provide us with great tips about local cafés, restaurants, and places to visit, but he also made sure we had everything we needed. He checked in from time to time just to see if we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Everything was perfect — except for the pillows, which were a bit too firm for our taste. But after only a few hours, Daniele surprised us with the softest, fluffiest pillows on the Amalfi Coast! Thank you so much, dear Daniele, for your care and hospitality. Casa Ravello is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience, a feeling, a state of mind!

Lovely location and view, we found the place comfy and the host was so responsive and lovely.

The sofa probably needs the covers replaced.

Ik had goede instructies gekregen naar het huisje toe. De verhuurder - Daniele - had een chauffeur geregeld die ons van het vliegveld kwam ophalen. Dat beviel ons prima. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is prachtig. Het dorp zelf ook. Ravello is zeer de moeite waard: het minst druk van de steden daar en toch genoeg te zien en lekker eten. Het is het dorp van Wagner, Escher, Reid, Greta Garbo en vele anderen. En niet voor niets...

Paar kleine dingen. De douche was niet altijd betrouwbaar qua temperatuur. Het was echter zo heet dat ons dat niet veel uitmaakte als het af en toe koud werd. Verder was het huisje wat schoon en netjes maar het is een bank met vlekken en de slaapkamers zijn ook niet heel gezellig. Het terras is prachtig. Wij hadden echter de keuze gemaakt in Augustus te gaan. Het was ontzettend heet (boven de 30 graden) en er was gebrek aan natuurlijke schaduw (wel een parasol maar daaronder was het nog bloedheet). Ik zou een volgende keer een iets koelere periode kiezen of een huisje met natuurlijke schaduw.

The property’s location is great, a short walk from the main piazza (beware of the steps: that’s Ravello!). We love that is is an independent unit (although a neighbouring house looks into the courtyard). The terrace has a breathtaking view of the sea bay, with a lovely outdoor seating area

Nothing in particular, however I think a newer, more comfortable sofa is needed, ideally a leather one, or one with washable covers, so it can be sanitised (the current one is a really cheap, stained sofa-bed,and it cheapens an otherwise lovely living area). A new gen TV as well would elevate the space, as the current one is outdated.

The location is wonderful, with a breathtaking view. The place was clean, well-equipped, and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Although I had read in previous reviews that the stairs might be challenging, I didn’t find them difficult at all. We arrived late, and Daniele kindly offered us the option of self check-in, which was very convenient. The instructions to reach the property were very clear, and a small issue with the Wi-Fi was resolved promptly. We were also very happy that we chose the town of Ravello out of all the Amalfi Coast – it was the perfect decision!
