Marian House

This was our first time to Sibiu, so we did not know where to stay, especially since we have a family of 5. The place was nice and large inside, perfect for families. The beds were comfortable, not as hard as many beds in B&B's and hotels in Romania. That alone made us willing to choose this place again. The livingroom was nice and open, and the kitchen fully stocked. They even had treats for us when we arrived. We were a little confused about where we were supposed to be going because they don't have a picture of the outside of the apartment building, so we didn't know the building we were looking for. We were also confused about how to get the key, but once we found our apartment building and read the directions again, then, we understood and could see what the directions were saying about how to get the key. The owners were very nice and sent us a message a couple of times during our stay to make sure everything was okay. I thought that was very nice. In the end, we were glad we chose this apartment. We were not disappointed and made some good memories with our family here.

There is a small problem with the curtains. The kitchen was missing one for the door that faces the parking lot. Also, the bedroom curtains are not quite wide enough to fully cover the windows, so we just used discretion. Lastly, the parking is very tight, so we learned it is better to back into the parking lot because then you can pull out going forward. In all, it is still a very nice place, and these small issues are far outweighed by how homey and nice of a place it is.

Good location in a new neighbourhood of Sibiu with houses. Spacious, modern, clean and fully equipped appartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very smooth communication with the owner and easy access to the keys. We got a full plate of traditional Romanian food, fruit, coffee, tea, etc. We also liked that it was pet friendly. We will come back for sure.
