"Relax con mare stupendo"

Il posto è delizioso, arredato con cura e pulitissimo. L'appartamento è attrezzato di tutto: lavatrice, lavastoviglie, microonde, cambi di asciugamani e lenzuola, ampio balcone vista mare con barbecue, tavolini e sdraio, aria condizionata, ventole, ombrellone per la spiaggia... Ma soprattutto è davanti al mare. A 20 metri grande spiaggia. Mare cristallino con ghiaia. Il bus per l'aeroporto e altre destinazioni è vicino (10 minuti a piedi). Dietro l'angolo un Sicily by Car che affitta auto e motorini. C'è silenzio (se si esclude il camion della spazzatura e una sera ogni tanto musica nell'hotel vicino ma solo fino a mezzanotte massimo). Area tranquilla e sicura in cui vivono famiglie. Anche se non l'ho mai vista, la proprietaria è super disponibile.

Intorno non c'è molto. La movida è a mezz'ora a piedi. I minimarket in zona sono cari come il fuoco e non hanno molto. Per comprare carne e verdure a prezzi ragionevoli è necessaria una lunga scarpinata. Per il supermercato vero ci vuole la macchina. Anche i ristoranti vicini sono piuttosto cari. Potrebbero tardare utili delle bici. Taormina è a mezz'ora di bus. Stranamente, bagno senza bidet con doccino, cosa strana in Italia.

The apartment is located directly on the beach of Recanati. In March, the area was very peaceful, and many restaurants were closed. I can imagine that in the summer, it becomes lively and bustling. However, for me, it was ideal to enjoy the tranquility of the neighborhood while still being not too far from the seafront of Giardini Naxos (which is within walking distance). The apartment is very charming, well-stocked, and comfortable. It features a fully-equipped kitchen, a sea-view terrace with a table, chairs, and a BBQ. The mattress is comfortable, and the bedroom is spacious. It's a small, lovely apartment, well-decorated and well-maintained. The bus stop for Catania and Taormina is just a 5-minute walk away.

I think it's a seasonal thing since I went in March, so although I liked the tranquillty of the neighborood, off season there is a limited selection of open restaurant and working shops. I am sure they'll be all fuly open starying in April/May, but somethign to cosider if you go off season - this is definitely a summer time area, but on the other hands it's very calm and peaceful in the fall/winter. The beach was completely empty so was very nice to walk in the sun.
