Casa Azzurra

All the necessary equipment was in the apartament. The location near the beach was great. The host was very nice and helpful and welcomed us with the traditional cannoli (which was delicious).

The neighbourhood was very dirty.

Hosts picked us up from airport took us to the supermarket and showed us how to get the local bus to the City. Beach was nearby and was clean with warm water (mid October)

The local streets were filthy with household rubbish dumped everywhere. This was an experience that shocked me all across Sicily. It was the worse I have experienced anywhere in the world. The local bus service was unreliable and never on time, however once you got one it was OK 20 minutes to centre of Catania.

Very clean, beach closeby (5 minute walk), spacious, the hosts are incredibly generous and hospitable, so friendly, wow. Thank you Nicola for the very nice stay and the free shuttle service to and from the airport. There was a flood in Catania, also the street of the house we were staying at was filled with water and Nicola even offered to come pick us up and drive us anywhere! So friendly of him!

Super friendly and welcoming owner. We were happily surprised with some really delicious cannoli, drinks and free coffee and tea. Very clean and nicely decorated house. Nice garden. Close to a beautiful long beach.

Although we are very positive about the property, we found the surroundings of the house quite depressing… it seems like nobody cares for the streets; rubbish, garbage and dog poop everywhere. Most depressing were the dogs who seem to be left alone to guard the unused summerhouses (we were here in October). Undoubtedly someone would feed them, but that’s it. No attention is given to them (dogs need more than only food). It is truly sad (lots of barking and crying)

Property managers very welcoming, polite and helpful in finding things to see/do around Catania. Position just out of the city centre, not too far from the airport and really close to the beach.

Mosquitos at night. Make sure you close all the doors/windows.

Andrea is a very helpful host, he personally handed over the house, prepared treats in the fridge, recommended restaurants and places to visit. He transferred us from/to the airport Well equipped house in the Villaggio Azzurro area.

Worse mobile and internet signal, but that is in the whole area

Hosts are really trying hard to make everything perfect! It was very clean, white towels, great coffee and even welcoming dessert and a bottle of wine! It is very close to the sea and the beach is spacious! I highly recommend this place and really great hosts!

We really liked the houses, they were well equipped and had nice yards. The host was really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.

Being off season, the whole village was looking deserted. The location was a bit off putting at times, but during summer it must be much better.

Great location and a really nice appartment. Highly recommend for the families
