The place was like the pictures, didn't know there was a ceiling mirror by the bed so that was a surprise

Receptionist very unfriendly. Made it feel like a effort to assist us. Explained nothing. Gave us a remote for tv and didn't explain how to get to a Channel. Were not advised about getting hot water for coffee. No coffee or tea even offered. Had to go and buy coffee and flask and asked if we could rinse the stuff out, and it was a mission to respond to us. Bedding faded and looking old. Even had bedding hanging on balcony outside where we were sitting. Overall, felt unwelcome and made to feel like it was a mission to help us. Property has potential but seems like nobody is interested in it.

I had a very disappointing experience at this lodge. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. The space wasn’t just slightly untidy, it felt dusty and unhygienic, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. The sleeper couch was visibly stained, which immediately raised concerns about how well the lodge is maintained. The extra blanket provided had a very strong, unpleasant odor, and the fleece was also dirty and smelled. These are basic essentials that should always be clean and fresh for guests. Unfortunately, the lack of cleanliness really affected the entire experience. I would not recommend this lodge unless there are significant improvements in hygiene and housekeeping standards.
