Secluded, remote and well maintained. Youssef is an absolute gem!

Kasbah Chems is a rustic and authentic Riad, no frills…BUT, the difference here is the people! We were so lucky to be cared for by Youssef. I was sick as a dog for the four nights we stayed there and Youssef and the staff took care of me like I was family. We had loads of extra blankets in our room to stay warm and cozy, and they gave me Berber médecine to help me feel better. The food was amazing and prepared with care. Bou Tharar is off the beaten path, but the road to Monkey Fingers from there is absolutely spectacular! Do not miss the opportunity to drive this road! It might not show up on Google maps, so ask Youssef to show you! Basically you head to Tisguine and turn right and follow the road!

We had the most amazing stay here. The location is beautiful, the staff so friendly and the property very clean and comfortable. Even though it got quite cold and windy and night, the room had plenty of blankets and heating and Youssef always offered us more blankets. Youssef was so polite and always made sure we were comfortable. He guided us through a beautiful gorge nearby and told us all about the Berber life. We also had the opportunity to visit some Nomads, which was an incredible experience. The food was delicious. They even offer home made yoghurt and goat cheese! All in all it was a wonderful stay and we wished we‘d booked longer.

The wifi wasn’t too good in our room.

Établissement magnifique, une vue incroyable sur la nature et la vallée. Propose des plats délicieux et de faire des excusions. Propriétaires chaleureux et à l’écoute.

Rien du tout, personnel au petit soin si vous manquez de quelque choses

Très bel aménagement de la maison avec une vue magnifique sur l oasis et les montagnes derrière. Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la piscine et l oasis. Bonne table. Je vous conseille la découverte de l oasis avec le guide maison, un agréable moment et la découverte de quelques aspects de la vie berbère.

Faites régler la clim par le personnel maison, les nuits d hiver sont froides!!
