Bien placé, chambre spacieuse et propre

Simple, basic accommodation at a very reasonable price. The owner and his family are friendly, as are the several dogs! Though close to a main road with plenty of shops and restaurants, it's in a very quiet area at the end of a windy lane. (My tuk-tuk driver had difficulty finding the place.)

On arriving, the owner (who speaks excellent English), told me how I'd got a very good price for my accommodation (which was true) and though it included breakfast in the Booking.com description this was a mistake. He said he was prepared to honour the deal. However, I felt embarrassed by the situation and elected to get my own breakfast elsewhere. He then proceeded to show me a card on which were printed a list of rules / guidelines. One of these included the maximum amount of time guests were expected to spend in their rooms each day (presumably to save on air-con, etc). It was also suggested that if I was heavy on electricity use, I might be asked to pay extra. Among other things, this made me feel uncomfortable about returning to my room "too early" in the day or even switching on a light or fan. In the event, no extra charges were made. The owner seems like a nice man and I feel the issue was probably more one of presentation rather than content.

Guesthouse très agréable, avec beaucoup de végétation. Chambre propre, bien équipée et agréable. La famille hôte est très gentille et serviable. Bien situé, à 6 km seulement du complexe d’Angkor.

La habitación. Tiene de todo, baño, nevera, aire acondicionado, un calentador de agua para infusiones...La familia es muy amable. Me dejaron hacer el check out más tarde.

El último tramo de acceso es de grava. No pueden acceder taxis ni suttles ni bans ni buses. Booking me lo ofreció con desayuno gratuito por tener nivel 2 de Genius y luego no entraba

if you want to feel like you are home with a Khmer family, book this place. the host is super friendly and helpful. the room is equipped with everything u will need. it is clean, and very convenient for the price, and the mosquito nets are helpful at night. the host helped booked a tour for me with a local company that I highly recommend, and he booked my ride to the airport too.
