Volcanic Boutique Hostel

This was a very well located and clean property.lt had all the amenities one needs for an amazing stay. This is one of the most welcoming hostels I've ever been in, the staff is very helpful also.

Lo que más nos gustó fue el trato del personal, tanto Andre como Sheila estuvieron muy pendientes de cualquier necesidad que pudiéramos tener. La limpieza es otro punto a destacar. También la ubicación muy cerca del centro y las instalaciones que no faltaba de nada. La cama muy cómoda también. Nos gustó hasta el huésped que también se hospedaba allí, Eduardo gracias por tus máster class de geología, un placer.

Por poner un pero, el baño era demasiado minimalista, echamos en falta un mueble para colocar las cosas de aseo, pero Andre nos lo soluciono dándonos otra banqueta. Había una almohada muy grande y también lo solucionaron trayéndonos otra más pequeña.

Die Videokamera in der Küche und Aufenthaltsraum. Man fühlt sich nicht wohl unter ständiger Beobachtung. Die Managerin,die zwar sehr freundlich und perfekt durchorganisiert war, verlangte noch die Kreditkarte. Obwohl der Aufenthalt schon bezahlt war, sollte es wohl zur Absicherung von Schäden sein. Die Zimmertür schloss nicht bündig ab. Durch den relativ breiten Spalt seitlich und oben kam das Licht des Treppenhauses. In der Dusche war der Seifenspender nicht befestigt und leer.

The place is great, but Sheila is the best person you are gonna meet in Angra, I have no doubt about that. She's been amazing, super easy to communicate with her and her attention to detail is incredible, if I come back to Angra I hope to stay there again!

Sheila is excellent. Her attention to guest is exceptional. She went out of her way to assist me with bus schedules, checked in on me during my stay as well as afterwards. Her warm personality made you feel not just a guest. She was welcoming in that kind of situation of meeting a friend of a trusted friend.

It would have been nice to have some basics supplies for the kitchen available, such as complimentary tea and coffee, salt, olive oil, some spices available to those that cook. I noticed on the island that hostels were not equal in the concept of hostels, so not so easy to understand exactly how one fits with another. For example, on another island the hostel cost was cheaper and breakfast was included.

Hostel agradável em temos de decoração e bem situado.

Acho que deveriam ter mais atenção à limpeza dos cortinados, nomeadamente do quarto que ficámos.

Fantastic location. Functional kitchen. Good water pressure

Door handle on bathroom was broken. Like you needed someone else available to open the door. Asked for help fixing this and was not done. Fortunately the common bathroom available but not clean. No ceiling fan or ac and room was very very warm.
