Zephir Suite

Location was excellent. Less than a 5 minute walk to train station. Taxi to/ from airport is Eur25 to train station. There is a steep flight of stairs inside the main door leading up to the apartment but they are well lit. Very safe area even at night..Main shopping street is a 2 minute walk away and it brings you straight down to the port area. A taxi to Oktagano beach is Eur20 one way (5 minute drive) it us to far to walk or cycle but it's a great beach. Umbrella and 2 beds cost Eur25.right at the sea. Facilities there are exceptional. The bus stop to Oktagno beach is at the train station no 4 or 5 .bus takes about 40 minutes and terminal is 1 minute walk from Lido. Buy a return ticket at kiosk outside train station. Betty cafe was so/so when it came to dinner but nice for coffee and ice cream. Locanda del Porto was lovely. Ferry there takes you to the other side of the port. Don Angus steak restaurant was closed for renovationsbut I heard great things about it.from locals. Watch for continental cafe and cafe olympiad, both good places for breakfast. This is a lovely apartment. All the basics were there. Grocery store is just around the corner. I took a day trip out to Taranto and nearby monopoli.

Would be nice if there were instructions for the jacuzzi. The fitted sheet on bed drove me crazy. It kept coming loose i would wake during the night caught up in it and have to remake the bed.. A flat sheet might be better.

Excellent location for what we needed (close to train station and airport) and within walking distance to port, shops, restaurants etc. Everything and more that you could need facility wise and the most helpful host that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Stefano could not have done more for us despite our very short stay - met us in person to give us keys and show us around the apartment, sent restaurant, bar & beach recommendations with location and transport details, ordered us a taxi and was always available on the phone for any queries. Highly recommend.

Not sure if there was A/C in the kitchen area of the apartment (may just not have been switched on) but fully functioning and working excellently in large bedroom/jacuzzi room.

The apartment was amazing, great location. Stefano the host was very helpful very friendly guy. His recommendations for local restaurants was spot on.
